Betsy McCall: A Collector's Guide based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
This long-awaited study of Betsy McCall of paperdoll and doll fame is an excellent and entertaining publication. The pictures are many and are, for the most part, clear and interesting. This is a wonderful guide for Betsy collectors or for any doll lover, for that matter. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested or simply curious about the tremendous popularity of doll artist Robert Tonner's line of McCall dolls and the collector's excitment over the Betsys that were manufactured in the 1950's and 1960's. Ms. Ausdall has certainly done her homework in this offering that has already proven to be of interest to adult and child alike. (My young granddaughters have spent fun and happy times with my book already.) What an excellent reference this one is!!
