About the Author

Felice Stevens is the author of several romance novels, including the Memories series, the Breakfast Club series, and Rescued. Although she practices law, Felice daydreams of a time when she can sit by a beach and write beautiful stories of men falling in love. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.

Marc Bachmann grew up in the Midwest, where his heart was lit up by the words of Shelley, Poe, and Byron. It is the thrill of his life to record books. Marc lives in the woods, where he records from home and enjoys reading by the fire with a glass of wine and playing with his dog, Bingo.

I really enjoyed this story. Zac and Sam are two very well written characters. My heart went out to Zac and his feelings of invisibility. I identified with him which really helped me connect with the story. Him being the shy quiet one in the group reminds me a lot of myself, especially with regards to his friendship with Marcus, who is ballsy and kind of in your face. I found the result of his previous relationship heartbreaking and really wanted to commit violent acts on his ex. Sam was the perfect match to Zac. He is very stoic, unless you rile him up, then watch out for his right hook. Sam has gone through some tough stuff and a bad relationship. I really enjoyed how protective he was of Zac. By the end of the story it was so very heartwarming to see how both characters showed growth and were able to get beyond their troubles and love one another.

Miss Stevens has done it again. In her second book of The Breakfast Club we get to know Zach and Sam. Separately they have their past full of pains but together they have a weekend that is off the charts. Once the weekend is over their story takes us on a roller coaster of emotions that will leave the reader feeling, well just "WOW!", there is no other way to say it better. Thank God for meddling friends because they may be tiresome at times they also can make us see what is right there in front of us. Sometimes I have trouble with a series when it bases each story on a different couple, mostly because I am just not ready to let go of the previous pair so when an author can make me love each series entry as much as the others than that is a real win in my book and that is exactly what Felice Stevens has done with The Breakfast Club.
