I am so glad you wrote this book . I felt like I was reading my own story at times . Alcohol addiction is a very lonely place to be , and like you hard to admit . Great book . I just finished reading it and I am going to read it again . Thank you Elizabeth

I loved reading Elizabeth Vargas' painfully honest and relatable memoir. I really had such a difficult time putting it down. Just like the stories she has told us on television, she captivates us with the facts and she is effortless with her deliverance. The world is rooting for you, Elizabeth! Remember that your biggest fear carries your greatest growth. ?

Having suffered from anxiety i understood the panic and terror Elizabeth faced on a daily basis. Although I was never an alcoholic, i can see why she used it as her way of calming herself down. I cried for her when I reached page 137. It was so sad that she had to leave her children and fight this awful disease alone. Frankly her husband was not supportive and why was she always the breadwinner? Why didn't he get a job with a regular paycheck to help her! Elizabeth if you are reading this know that there many people out there who feel compassion for you and all the suffering you endured. Remember during those rough times that you are and will continue to be a great mother to your boys! Please don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. Good luck in your future career, and I wish you the best in your continued recovery and will pray for you. God Bless you.

The recent interview with Diane Sawyer piqued my interest in the book. It was well written and added some depth to the story. In retrospect..the interview was enough.

This is my story as it is for so many of us who battle addiction sometimes a minute at a time. This is real, this is so hard. I am told it may become easier. I hope for tomorrow and the many days after. This book has been a gift of strength for me, for today and tomorrow.

What an honest book! I am over the moon that you are walking out your sobriety day by day. You are brave, beautiful, and astute! Nothing can change that! Keep praying and counting your blessings. You are special and needed! I wish you continued success and every blessing over you and your boys!

It is always powerful to hear the story of very public accomplished people share their struggles so honestly and with humility.

Inspiring book, well done and easy to read. It must have been difficult story to tell but grateful to women like her for sharing such struggles in such a high profile job.

A very touching story. I couldn't stop reading it. I've enjoyed watching Elizabeth Vargas on various news shows reporting stories. I never knew she had a problem with alcohol and anxiety. I'm glad she didn't lose all she had in life to alcohol. She lost her husband but she still had her job, her two boys, family and friends through all of it. This had to have been a very difficult story to tell. Thank you, Elizabeth for sharing your story.
