When I read the caption about this book and it said set on the high seas I thought it would be a pirate book but it’s not.  But it is a wonderful story and a sweet romance.  Chelly and Austin have tough decisions to make that affect the life of a little boy and their own lives.  I had never read about Jerome Bonaparte and his son and I thoroughly enjoyed the way the author tied that story into the romance between Austin and Chelly to give then their happily ever after. Well worth reading.

I give this book 3 and 1/2 stars. Although not Grey's best effort, this book was still entertaining. I especially liked the way she wove the story around the historical figure, Jerome Bonaparte, of whom I was only vaguely aware of before reading this book. The romance was fun and believable. Sadly, there were quite a few typos.

I found myself reading the first sentence of paragraphs until I came to a section that interested me. I liked Amelia Grey's "A Little Mischief" but not this one.
