Beyond Fate is part mystery, part suspense, and part thriller. It tells the story of Tim Storey, a teacher from Port Washington, Wisconsin, who suddenly receives intuitive information that he believes may lead to the whereabouts of four people who have mysteriously disappeared; 1) a college coed fails to return to her home in Green Bay where her car is later found abandoned in a parking lot, 2) A commercial fishing boat out of Port Washington, manned by three men, fails to return to port on a clear day in December after fishing on Lake Michigan. Tim becomes obsessed with the information he seems to have been chosen to receive that may be connected to the disappearances and the mysterious purpose of a strange antenna on the Clam Lake military base in Northern Wisconsin. Equally mysterious is Tim¿s relationship with Petra, a young waitress in Port Washington, who seems drawn to Tim¿s new-found psychic ability. Unsure if the random intuitive clues refer to the missing coed or the fishing boat, Tim begins an investigation of both events that leads him to the upper peninsula of Michigan and several startling discoveries. He meets the enigmatic Palmer, a conspiracy theorist and paranormal investigator who teams with him to solve the riddle of the missing and expose a truth deeper than fate itself. Beyond Fate is the story of one man¿s redemption from his own dark past with all the threads that stitch a life together. Beyond Fate is set throughout the state of Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan. The beauty and the vastness of Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and the Chequamegon National Forest add to the setting. The main character of Beyond Fate is Time Storey, a junior high school science teacher living in Port Washington, Wisconsin. He leads a solitary existence with only vague childhood memories of lost parents. In his journey Tim will meet and team with Palmer, an enigmatic conspiracy theorist and paranormal investigator whose efforts seem to be funded by some clandestine source. At a time when the search for truth is working to pull him away from Port Washington, Tim meets Petra, an alluring young waitress with an extraordinary knowledge of Tim¿s budding psychic ability and a force that drives him on. It is that psychic ability that draws Tim to a fourth character and member of the search team who was seemingly stuck in a world within our world.
