Both viewers and nonviewers of the highly respected Washington Week in Review will enjoy this readable overview of the Reagan era. The WWR reporters present essays followed by roundtables that survey the Reagan revolution, congressional realignment, Star Wars, television politics, and Third World fundamentalism and terrorism. Each reporter contributes an essay which is debated by the other correspondents in the roundtables. Haynes Johnson's chapter on the Reagan reaction is particularly notable, but all the essays are informative and stimulating.
