Project Tell (Teaching English Through Living Language), Rubright's three-year federally funded Title IV-C program for a suburban St. Louis school district, explored ways storytelling and related expressive arts could be used to motivate students. She is also cofounder of the Metro Theater Circus (now called Metro Theater Company), which won a Winifred Ward award for best new children's theater.
