About the Author

I am southern writer who enjoys writing about the southern living I grew up in. I am divorced and work at a nearby college. I live about fifty miles north of Nashville, Tennessee in the town of Gallatin. I enjoy sharing my stories with the readers, which I hope find the stories appealing. I write mysteries, crime thrillers, and suspense. My books touch on various subjects dealing with today’s society of the yester years. I write short story collections with the hope of sharing a variety of my stories for the reader’s enjoyment. I want to be an effective writer with positive stories that bring the reader down to a good old country story with a lot to say.

Very Enjoyable Read I really enjoyed these stories! They are well written and paint a very descriptive picture of living in the South. I liked what they had to say about life and was glad that they had no gratuitous violence in them. There are many universal truths in these stories. I definitely will read more books by this author.

Some of the stories sart off on a slow start a few times i almost stopped reading. But after the first pages it was GREAT. There are multipul stories in this collection most of which are murder stories. The first one would be my favorite. It was awesome. I a to finish it i couldnt put my nook down. I would recommend this to EVERYONE. If you think that you would read it because of the murder stories you should still read it. The stories are not scary hut very intertaining. It is a 300 page book all together but there are differnt short stories in it. I would have givin this book five stars but on the third story it was very slow at the start. Young old middle aged whatever you are if you can read you should readbtjis book.

This book offers a variety of short stories, most of which take place in the early 1900's. They all are set in different places and the situations describe many of the hardships going on during those times. I would recommend this book.
