My biggest question about this really fun book is, Why isn't it in bookstores? We bought it on the Web because it sounded like a good thing to take along on long trips in the van, and it definitely is. Under the big umbrella of 'American Trivia' the book includes questions and answers on music, movies, TV, famous people, history, food, tourist attractions, the (pardon my cliche) whole nine yards. The last section of the book includes 20 questions about each state, which is a kind of neat way to do a sort of quickie tour through the whole country. We were going to buy a copy for sister and her kids and found that it's not available in stores, which is odd. Anyway, it really is great fun for all ages.

Think you know a lot of American trivia? Want to match your wits against your friends? This book is the resource for you. There are over 3,000 questions/answers to enlighten and entertain you, your friends, and your family. Questions encompass areas like Presidents, states, writers, and composers. Time periods range from early American history to today's world, so you will never be bored or unchallenged. Sample questions include: "What visual contribution did cartoonist Thomas Nast make to American politics?" and "Little Rock, Arkansas's tallest building was named for what yogurt?" Come on, learn some American trivia and amaze your friends! I really love this book. It is fun to read alone, but more fun to use as a game with family and friends. It will make a great gift for trivia buffs and is a wonderful learning tool for anyone. I recommend it to everyone. My free review copy came from Tyndale House, and I thank them for the opportunity.

I haven't read the first two but this was awesome. It flowed nicely and I didn't feel lost having not read the others first. I liked Dori and Reid equally. I could find myself in both characters. Great chemistry. Wonderful intensity between them. I smiled many times and had to make myself put it down to sleep (my kids will not understand my coma from lack of sleep) this book is why I love to read!!

We recently drove 5 hours North to Munising, Upper Peninsula, Michigan We would give 15 minutes for each reader to ask the rest of us questions from any topic that they wanted, Who ever the most right when we got to each Rest-Stop won what ever they pulled out of the brown paper grocery bag without being able to see what they were taking. (licorice, Herseys, combos, that kind of stuff) It provides a great way to pass time and we learn new things along the way. The book is great...it has so many topics and loads of fun for a family road-tripping it or camping. This book will now stay in the camper. Love It!

I enjoy this book because we love to play trivia at my house. The way this book is written makes it extremely easy to play trivia. If you have questions you might not know about our country you should be able to find it with this informational tool. It's interesting and fun.
