Creative blend of fact and fiction. The description of what can happen to your career in the pharma industry if you're not careful is right on! Realistic characters. Entertainment at it's best.

I have been in the pharma industry for over 20 years and this novel is all about the good and the bad that happen everyday in corporate America. The blend of fact and fiction makes this a must read for anybody who has ever taken a prescription drug!! I could not put the book down!!

Michael Moore would just love to sink his teeth into this book. All kinds of sex, drugs, and corporate fraud that the haters of pharmaceutical companies love. I hope my outrages drug costs don¿t go to this kind of stuff, but.. something tells me some of the stuff in this book has really gone on.

Entertaining tale of corporate espionage, greed and power in the workplace. Enjoyed watching the destruction of corporate careers portrayed in the novel. Typical day in BIG PHARMA.

I like to think I'm not naive about pharmaceutical companies, but in reading this book I felt I was getting a real behind the scenes look at what transpires in those lofty offices, and it was not comforting. This is a very interesting and informative read for anyone wanting to know the marketing process of perscription drugs along with a plot twistng story of how one man gets caught up in the big money and big lifestyle of 'Big Pharma'. I loved it!

John Prieve's first novel, Big Pharma, is reminiscent of Upton Sinclair's classic, The Jungle, from the early 20th century, which exposed the meat packing industry. In the same vein, Prieve weaves a tale of corporate greed, espionage and deception set in a fictional pharmaceutical company. It is a must read for pharma reps, medical professionals, and patients. This industry better hope Congress doesn't pick up a copy!
