About the Author
Maria Teresa Cannizzaro was born in Rome and is an avid collector of vintage bijoux. After completing a degree in Philosophy, she studied with Peter di Cristoforo and Alfred Weisberg- the founder of the Providence Jewelry Museum. She now teaches at the Institute of Fashion and Jewellery Design at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and has authored several books on jewelry.
