My kids loved this book. My 6 yr old son in particular thought this was hilarious. The pictures are funny as well. There is a lesson about manners as well, which I liked. My son was able to read this with only a little help, so it's a pretty easy read. WiLoveBooks "Mom, blogger, and lover of books."

Billy and his Monster have an encounter with a new neighbor. Misunderstandings ensue, but things get straightened out. A great book for younger school age kids. Complete with farts and burps to delight any seven year old! Even my 11 year old Granddaughter thought it was pretty funny. Cute illustrations and a fun story. D. Moore

We received this book via Story Cartel to give an honest review.  I thought this book would be good for my 7 year old. But he didn't quite enjoy it like I thought. He said is was an okay book.  I thought  it was funny when the little boy blamed the monster for his gas. It is like how we do here when someone passes gas, "it wasn't me it was the bullfrog. Did you hear it?" And we get a chuckle and say excuse me. The drawings were okay but what bothered me was the fact that you would get a picture with a few sentences then flip the page only to get one sentence.  Now what he ate for breakfast, what was the momma thinking? I can see the eggs for breakfast but the beans and broccoli and soda! That is just asking for gas. Just saying.  This is a cute little book but it fell flat for K. He just didn't enjoy it or laugh as I thought he would. I would say this may be for the younger kids.

In this book the name Angela is mentioned. That's my name!! Other that the book was alright. I mean it's not the best book I've read. Because Harry Potter books are good. So are Ivy and Bean books. Can I hear from you? Just write me back here. Sincerely, Angela Nelson
