This book was very enlightening and well-worth your time. Get it is you are using hormones or thinking about using hormones. It will point both men and women in the right direction. Also get the other books in the Bioidentical Hormones series. They are all great.

I have spent 40 years practicing medicine, and it always fills me with gratitude when I run across a book like "Bio-identical Hormones Made Easy." This is because most of what is written on healthcare is either overwhelmingly pedantic and impractical or is oversimplified to the point of being relatively useless. This book is one of the fine exceptions to those trends, and is clear and even enjoyable reading, not only for the inquisitive public at large, but for medical professionals too. We also need quick and reliable references to turn to in a busy practice. If greater detail is needed it is always easy enough to research it in the literature once we have the basic scope of the problem and its treatment in our sights. And what a problem we find when contemplating whether or how to use hormone supplementation in todays society! I trust the information in this book entirely, based upon experience and upon the way different parts flow with each other. There is just the right balance between the general and the specific, and between the didactic and the personal. The book does not insist that only one way is possible, but it documents the likely outcomes of different courses of action. The grief that could be averted were this information to become more widely known is immense. It is always harder to write something concisely than to ramble on, and we should all be thankful to the author for making that effort on our behalf.
