This is a very good overview of the birds of the Keystone State. It won't replace your primary field guide, but the art is excellent. The text is interesting and the authors add fascinating tidbits of information about the species they are discussing. The list of birding hot spots is a bonus.
My grandfather is a bird watcher but his books were old. He told me he really likes the pictures of the birds and the reference system to find the birds.
