The Bishop siblings' family is on the verge of collapse as all three find themselves embroiled in danger. Family bonds may keep them alive...but only love can give them something to live for. Read BISHOP'S KNIGHT, the first novel in this ALL NEW heart-pounding Endgame trilogy!

She needs his protection...

Thanks to years of government training, Evie Bishop knows how to get into places she doesn't belong—and she's very good at it. But years of doing black ops work burned her out so she returns home—to unexpected chaos. One of her brothers is in a coma and the other is in hiding, wanted for murder. Then a fellow operative from her past shows up shot and bleeding with news that an assassin is gunning for everyone involved with a past op. She's forced to turn to the one man she knows she can trust—the man whose heart she broke.

But it will come with a price...

When Dylan Blackwood proposed a year ago, Evie turned him down flat and walked out of his life. He's stunned when he finds her on his doorstep covered in someone else's blood, needing his help. He always knew there was more to her than met the eye—that Evie was never simply the pampered society princess she wanted people to believe she was. But he never expected this. If she needs help, he'll give it. Even if he can't forget her betrayal. Even if he isn't sure he can trust her. But his protection will come with a price—her heart. Before they can have a chance at a future, they'll have to work together to take down a faceless enemy who has Evie firmly in his crosshairs.

At first, he was just an asset, someone to use to get to the person she needed to meet. Then, he became someone important to her, someone she could love. What if he finds out that she lied to him? Evie Bishop is a CIA operative and it’s vital that she completes the mission. Dylan Blackwood is a wealthy and amazing man and when her good friend is shot, he is the only one that she knows can help her. Evie’s life is in turmoil. Her one brother, Ellis, has been framed for murder and is on the run while her other brother, Evan, lies in a coma after being injured in an explosion. Someone is killing off the members of her team and she needs to find out who and put them out of business. An exciting and thrilling romantic suspense as Dylan soon realizes that this time, he will do everything he can to keep Evie in his life and protect her. I so enjoy reading about strong female characters that handle the danger when threatened. This is the first book in the “End Game” series and I look forward to the next two books. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Bishop’s Knight by Katie Reus Endgame Trilogy #1 Action-packed from beginning to end this book had me hooked and unwilling to put it down till I had finished it! It lays the groundwork for the books to follow and was absolutely great in its own right. What I liked: * Evie: She was a tough cookie with a heart of gold. She loved her family, job, friends and...Dylan * Dylan: Oh my...a hunk and a half wonderful book boyfriend! * All of it from beginning to end! Plot, pacing, romance...all of it! What I didn’t like: * The bad guy – so thankful he got his comeuppance! Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I like to read more in this series? Without a doubt Will I read more by this author? Definitely! Thank you to NetGalley and KR Press, LLC for the ARC – This is my honest review. 5 Stars

I have to say that this is a pretty good story to a new trilogy. We have it all in Bishop's Knight. Seriously, we start off with Evie Bishop who was CIA, but has retired. However, she gets sucked back in to help a friend. She's trying to figure out what's going on with her brothers, which is a great way to tell you there is more to come. The icing on the cake is past love interest. Yes, we have a second chance romance. If that wasn't enough we have the element of danger. There is a lot packed into this one story, but it has you wanting to know more. We get a glimpse of Evie's brothers in here. We know that one brother is pretty badly injured, and the other is wanted for murder. She's trying to save a friend which puts her life in jeopardy. Of course, she goes to the one person that she knows and trust, Dylan Blackwood. He could totally toss her on her butt, and never look back. The history, but he wants to help. Like I said, it's a pretty good lead to the trilogy. It makes me wonder if what happens in this book also tie to Evie's brothers situation. I can't wait for the rest of the books to come. So, if you are looking for romance and suspense, look no further and try Bishop's Knight. Copy provided by author.

I love all of Katie's books and this is no exception. Evie's book is the first of this series and I was hooked from the beginning and wishing the others in the series were already available. There's action, suspense, and great chemistry between Evie and Dylan. If you enjoy all of these, you won't be disappointed.

Terrific action and adventure in this first story in the new Endgame trilogy from this fantastic author. This has all the alphabet agencies involved with several storylines surrounding the Bishop siblings. The main focus is on the mystery of who's killing operatives with Evie Bishop front and center. I love this fabulous heroine as a kickass CIA operative and her equally talented sidekick, Samara. These two take on the bad guys with thrilling cunning and skill. And when they get in a jam Evie turns to her former flame, the extremely hunky, Dylan. The former military/billionaire is yummy! But things ended badly between the two and Evie needs to come clean if she wants a second chance with Dylan. The chemistry between these two is steamy and undeniable. But first Dylan has to helps Evie stay alive while hunting the culprit. The Bishop family is in the mix with one of Evie's brothers on the run and the other involved in a tragedy. Sets up for things to come in this series. A fast-moving spy mystery and a sizzling second-chance romance. What more do you need? Just fantastic! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

I always like the first book in a new series because it sets the tone for the rest of the series and gives me a glimpse of the other characters that will be coming. And the author is really going to have her work cut out of her to outdo this book! BISHOP’S KNIGHT is chock full of intrigue, danger, adventure, and passion. Dylan and Evie are explosive together! They match each other and are perfect for the other. Evie broke it off with him to protect him, but there is no stopping what is meant to be. Dylan definitely takes what is thrown at him and runs with it and also shows that he is more than willing to go the length for Evie, no matter what. There are a number of twists and turns in this that I didn’t expect to come and really liked how the author made them play out. The end wasn’t obvious which was really nice and kept the suspense up throughout the book. And the setup for the next two books in the series was really good. I will say that I think the oldest brothers book is going to be heartbreaking, but his heroine (who I hope stays the heroine) is going to make the hero crawl before she can forgive him (he is being a bit of an idiot right now). And I am totally intrigued by the other brothers story. I want to know what is going to happen!! Overall, great book with an awesome storyline and action packed scene with intrigue aplenty! This book sets a high bar for the rest of the series but I have a feeling that the author is more than ready to take on the challenge! So two high thumbs up and happy reading!

Incredible beginning to a new series!!! I always love new characters and beginnings that I know are going to grow into new worlds. This is definitely one of those books. The Bishop’s are a family struggling. Not financially but if trouble comes in three’s, they are all there. This is Evie’s story. Evie Bishop is a strong woman with one weakness…and his name is Dylan Blackwood. She had to use him as a target for a CIA op but she fell in love. Unfortunately she wasn’t in a position to make long term plans. And now she is back and needs his help. We are going to get the Bishop brothers stories in the future and I can’t wait!!!!! Start this now and you will be ready!!!!!!

Romantic suspense puzzles...Katie Reus writes some of the best. It will take three stories to unravel all of the troubles that have fallen on the Bishop family. Who's targeting the Bishop family and why? former CIA operative Evie Bishop is a master at quizzing out threats like this. Evangeline Bishop, Evie was recruited for the CIA in college and is very good at her job, but she's had enough after her op where she fell in love with Dylan Blackwood. For the Jensen op last year she went in as herself, using her family connections to take down a human smuggler. That's where she got reintroduced to family friend Dylan Blackwood who also made a fortune in real estate. She used him to get introduced to Rod Jensen, real estate mogul. The op was successful but she and Dylan fell in love with each other, something she has never allowed. When he asked her to marry him, she turned him down because she was returning to her undercover work and had lied to him. Six months later she's retired and home in Miami once again trying to figure out why someone bombed her brother Evan's office and her other brother Ellis is in hiding charged with a murder he didn't commit. Evan's in a coma and his future father-in-law's dead from the bombing. Ellis is DEA and a good guy so she knows he didn't do it. Evie goes into action when her former teammate Samara Sousa lands on her doorstep with a gunshot wound. Their teammates from the Jensen op are coming up dead and they are both being targeted. The only place she can think of to get Samara a doctor's care without reporting it is her former lover Dylan who has a concierge doctor available. As much as she's torn, given how she hurt him she goes to him for help. He still loves her and comes to her aid. I came to really love Dylan. He's so much more than he seems. He is her partner and equal in every way. He doesn't back down from dangerous action making me wonder what he did during his military years, Reus never tells us but given his skills I would guess elite ops. Together they puzzle out who's trying to kill her and Samara in this story. The next one will be Evan's puzzle while the third will be Ellis' and why he's being framed for murder. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The first book in the Endgame Trilogy starts definitely set the bar high for the remaining books. The story dives right in. No warning, no teaser, just BAM, hold on tight. Even though the main characters are Evie and Dylan, this book also starts the story line threads for the brothers, Ellis and Evan. Katie Reus does really well weaving in other character story lines within the main story line. Not only does it enhance the current read, there’s always just enough of a teaser that I look forward to next book with a little anticipation than normal. This is definitely a romantic suspense, so the aura of danger is pretty much on every page. The secondary characters are just as entertaining as the main couple and sometimes outshine them. If you’ve read previous series by Katie Reus, then you’ll recognize a few of the characters she sprinkles in to help move the story along. The dialogue is witty and gritty and emotional. I became quite invested in this couple Great start to a new series. ARC received in exchange for honest review.

A great start to what I'm sure will be a fantastic trilogy. The story line is action packed, filled with mystery, family bonds and unrequited love. Unique connections and interactions among characters add another amazing layer to the story. Can't wait for more. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.

Evie Knight is (ex) CIA, but hasn’t lost any of her skills. When a former team member shows up on her doorstep claiming they are both in danger, Evie goes to Dylan Blackwood, the one person she knows will help, even if their personal relationship is a little mucked up. Evie is a feisty little thing, with a heart of gold and an unshakeable faith in the greater good. I liked the contrast with her CIA position because it grounded why Evie does the job in the first place. I also enjoyed her family ties, and her sense of humor. Dylan is my dream hero! He’s not only cool, calm, and mostly collected, he respects Evie and doesn’t stuff her in a corner so he can save the day. He lets her work and plays her supportive backup. He also has feelings and expresses them without losing any masculinity! Evie doesn’t have to hunt down and dig to what Dylan thinks about her. Anyone who has read Reus knows suspense and romance go hand in hand and Bishop’s Knight is no different! The suspense comes barreling out and doesn’t stop until the end, but Dylan and Evie’s second-chance romance was like lighting a match to dry kindling. These two burned up the pages when they had their chances, leaving raw emotions all over the place! Reus has nailed it again! Bishop’s Knight is the first book of a new trilogy (yaaaaaay!!!) and I have fallen for the three Knight siblings! I also loved the Red Stone Security cameos . I’ll be waiting on pins and needles to see what happens next! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. -jewlsbookblog

Bishop's Knight is the first book in Katie Reus' all-new Endgame trilogy. So far my favorite series of hers is still the Red Stone Security series, but I'm really excited about this trilogy after reading book one! Yes, I'm a romantic suspense junkie. And Katie Reus is on my auto 1-click list. To date, I have not been disappointed in any of her books. Obviously, I like some more than others, but I'd happily recommend any of them. In Bishop's Knight, Ms. Reus does a wonderful job developing the world surrounding the Bishop siblings as well as focusing in on Evie and Dylan's story. And I believe it sets a very intriguing tone for the next two books. And in the end, the bad guy was not my first suspect. Can I just be real for a minute? I know a lot of reviewers and bloggers have many book boyfriends. But there are only a few male lead characters that I'd say I've truly swooned over. After reading Bishop's Knight, I absolutely swooned over Dylan. He's made my short list! He is one of the most well-rounded heroes I've read in a long time. He's mature enough to help someone who quite literally devasted him when she really needs him. He's compassionate, fair-minded, and best of all...forgiving. Dylan is that guy that you would be happy to take home to meet your family! I adored Evie's determination to do the right thing. Even when it meant tearing her own world apart. And together...well...let's just say I pity the fool that messes with them next time. NICUnurse's Rating: This book literally kept me up until about 4 am. I knew I was going to hate my choice the next day, but I kept reading anyway. And when you treasure your sleep like I do, that's saying a whole lot of good things right there! It's a fast-paced, keep you guessing until the very end, page-turning read. I give Bishop's Knight by Katie Reus 4.75 out of 5 stars!

Dyland and Evie's second chance romance swept me off my feet, folks. As usual, this author captivated me with a protective, caring, good guy hero and a strong, sassy heroine worthy of him and vice versa. Evie was the picture of a highly skilled trained agent ready to answer the call of duty at a moment’s notice. Even when her family’s world is crashing and burning around her, she’s still willing to put her neck on the line for justice and to help a friend. Dylan is a threat to her heart as she lives with regret over how things ended with them. He was there for his lady love though, even when he thought they were long over. Fate and a bad guy ultimately end up bringing these two perfect for each other lovebirds back together, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Not surprisingly, crumbs have been dropped leading the way to two other characters getting their HEAs in future sequels. I can’t wait to see what moves these Bishop’s are going to make to win at the game of love. One in particular has a lot of kissing and making up to do, my fellow romance book loving friends, and I am so looking forward to it. Title: Bishop’s Knight, Series: Endgame Trilogy (Book 1), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 250, stand-alone but part of a series, romance safe, good guy hero, trained agent heroine, some steamy scenes, second chance romance, celibate during separation. Book 1 - Bishop’s Knight Book 2 - Bishop’s Queen Book 3 - Bishop’s Endgame (I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Non-stop action... book one of Katie Reus’ new romantic suspense series, Endgame Trilogy, pulled me in and held on from page 1! Evie Bishop, former CIA operative is back home in Miami to recharge and begin her civilian life. While dealing with family drama – one of her brothers is in hospital after being involved in a bombing, while the other is in hiding, wanted for murder – a friend and fellow operative turns up at her house with a bullet wound telling Evie someone from one of their past operations is after them. Knowing that she must get her friend to safety and discover who’s gunning for them, Evie turns to the only person who can help. Dylan Blackwood practically fell in love with Evie at first sight a year ago. So certain that she was the one, Dylan proposed, and Evie turned him down and walked out. Now after months of silence she turns up at his door with a gun shot victim and asking for his help. Bishop’s Knight is filled with so many edge-of-your-seat twists and turns, who-did-it’s, and what’s-next moments that I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! Dylan and Evie have explosive chemistry. The Bishop family dynamic is intriguing. I’m extremely excited about this new series and can’t wait for book 2! Highly recommended read! *ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

Oh yeah! Now this is what I’m talking about when I’m looking for in a great romantic suspense! Evie has carried guilt for the last year after using Dylan to make a connection to a CIA target her group was looking to take down. She never expected to fall for him, but just reading his bio before she officially met him caused a reaction within her. Actually getting to know him meant falling in love and when he proposed, her lies and guilt overwhelmed her and she could do nothing but run. Dylan was all in with Evie from the first moment he saw her. Their relationship was everything he didn’t know he wanted. When she rejected him he was left broken hearted and confused. Now she’s in need of help for a friend and this time he’s going to get all the answers to his questions. And then he’s going to get her. ”Knowing she was in his house, under his roof, turned him on. Everything she did turned him on. It was beyond reason. But that was just the way it was and he was going to have to accept it. Because he didn’t think there was another woman for him other than Evie Bishop. She was his not-so-secret addiction.” This starts off with a wild action sequence and never slows down. Evie is one kick butt heroine and I was afraid that I wouldn’t like Dylan for her because of it. But that was not the case. ”Sometimes when she looked at him, she saw the warrior looking back at her. He might have left the Marines, but the Marines hadn’t left him.” He not only held his own, he was protective without stepping on her toes or acting as if she wasn’t fully capable. He allowed her to do her job as she saw fit, even when everything within him said to grab her up and run. I love a strong hero and Dylan proved that having the strength to let his woman do what was needed, even when it went against his own desires, made a hero even more alluring. There are several issues going on in this story. Some are in regards to Evie’s brothers and I can’t wait to read their books. The other is a mystery that Evie and her friend are trying to solve. As they delve deeper into what’s going on, I had a suspicion of who the villain was. I was wrong. Which is often the case in this author’s stories. But the unraveling of the clues, the final plan to trap the bad guy and the resulting consequences of that plan, had my heart in my throat. This is one adrenaline inducing read that totally enraptured me page after page. This is one of those books you’ll want to read in one sitting. Unfortunately, life royally screwed me over and I was unable to do so. In between life I was sneaking one more page or paragraph because I couldn’t let it go. So heads up, be sure you’ve got your schedule cleared and don’t answer your phone! (My biggest mistake!)
