This is the 3rd & final book in the series... It did NOT disappoint!! We pick up where book 2 left off-still a mess of unspoken truths & half-lies between Cas, Ellen & Mae--but they eventually find their way to the truth, and are able to overcome the lies to work together to eventually defeat the evil king. However, all is not roses & lollipops (trying to avoid spoilers), and the group faces great heartbreak in achieving this goal. The author did a great job at finishing off the story with several plot twists & happy/sad moments. I do wish there would have been a short epilogue to follow up with the characters a few years later---but maybe she didn't include one so she can do a spin off series(hoping!) ;-)

One part of this book made me so mad that I stopped reading for a week... wished Mae's and Cas's love had more time together. They went through so much and they still lost each other. Over all a great book.
