This book is outstanding just like the rest of them. I wish I could share my favorite part, but that would spoil the whole book (because, of course, it's the very climax!).

but not as good as some of Walter Farley's other 'black stallion' books. I enjoyed 'The Black Stallion Revolts' much more. This one is more of an easy-going story, and pretty much the only exciting part was near the end. Still a good book, though!

I read all the Black Stallion books while I was growing up and of them all this one was always my favorite!! I love that both the Black and Satan are in it and how Alec's love for the Black is still extrodinary after he comes back from Arabia

(Locked out of the first result so I'm hunting and border patrolling here) -she trots along a different border than the ther apprentices have taken, and smeels a stale fox scent. She remarks the border a few times before she snifs around, looking for prey. She smells a prarie dog and a rabbit or two. He head for the rabbit and stalks it, but her tail brushes some grass, alerting the rabbit. she chases it and finally, with one last leap, bites its neck and buries it, hoping that she hasn't alerted any more prey. She checks for the other rabbit and the prair dog, but the other rabbit's scent is getting fainter and fainter. She stalks through the long grass and peers around, looking for the prarie dog. She fnally sees it foraging for food, just like her. She gets a mouse-legnth away from it hefor it notices her, and she quickly kills it with a nip to its neck. She purrs as she pads hback to he rabbit, whih she picks up over her back an oes back to the clearing where she started- (Lilystar, can we train at the 5th result?)

He sees the rabbit and quietly and quickly stalks it. He hides in some shrubs then pounced on it. He killed it with a quick nip to the neck the put some leaves over it to retreive later. He follows his scent backwards and finds the other four rabbits. He drops down and watches them eat grass. He stayed downwind and then pounced. He landed squarely on the back of the biggest rabbit and crused its back killing it, but gave it a nip to the neck just incase. By then the other rabbits were fleeing. He jumped infront of the nearest rabbit and bit into its neck. He then bounded over to the farthest rabbit and killed it. Then the other two wich were fleeing together. He gathered all the rabbits and padded away Heronpaw
