This is the first book I have read by this author and I am getting ready to go shopping for another. It has great characters, a good story, lots of suspense and non- stop action. Sounds like there will be a follow up. Write fast!

Great story, fluid story line and crisp writing. Makes you wish the book was another 300 pages just so you could know the outcome as the story is definitely not done. Can't wait for the sequel to see how it ends!

Excellent story of Ethan, an elite level former Ops leader now dealing with the death of his son and his ex-wife, Ethan is living an voluntary desert lifestyle while his ex-wife works as a doctor in a science lab in Dallas, Texas. Ethan is received an unexpected visit from a former team member who arrives with two children. After the team member's murder, Ethan is not only stuck with the kids, but now must race to get to his ex-wife to save her from being killed by the bad guys. This book has it all, the past recall of romance between Ethan and Sidney, the action of Ethan and Sidney, along with the children escaping the bad guys and the adventure of traveling from State to State to escape both the bad guys and the police since Ethan and Sidney are now being framed, The storyline was good the characters excellent.Ending: Was okay. BUT what I did not like was that there is a sequel to the book coming in early 2018 (early 2018 WHAT!!!!)...since no month is given, I can set an alert to remind me, but alerts don't work for me, I figure in a year or two, I may come across the sequel. What works is a link to sign up to receive the sequel. I gave the book 4 stars because there is no way for the reader to receive an alert EXCEPT to sign up for the authors newsletter which means reading about their everyday life while waiting for closure of a story. No thanks I have enough to do in my own everyday life. I purchased this book from B&N. *****vrnb*****

I fully enjoyed this book. Yes, tyere are some hard-to-believe actions but what book or movie in this genre doesn't have those? The story kept my interest and I would live to read a sequel.

The suspense starts almost at the first page and never lets up. This book is well written, with fully realized characters and settings. I will definitely be purchasing more of this author's work; she has earned an enthusiastic fan! I'm not one to leave reviews, but wow!

This was a great read that I highly recommend. I would definitely read a sequel to this one. The characters were believable and the further you read into it, the more it reels you into the unfolding plot.

Blind Run is an action adventure tale featuring ex-CIA operative, Ethan Decker, his ex-wife, Dr. Sydney Decker and two runaway kids. In addition to excellent pacing - which I put down to stellar "scene shuffling", i.e., putting the scenes in an order to create maximum tension, the children's characters, especially, the boy Danny were especially well done. After reading the book, I was reminded that it is easy to fall into the "cuteness" trap when writing children and that children's inner lives can be as complex and difficult as those of adults. I was inspired to think about the childhoods of some of my main characters in more challenging ways.
