This book ministerd to me in so many diffrent ways. It wasn't just emotional, but my mind, heart and spirit was also addressed on each and every page. It made me deal with some issues in my life that I thought were delt with. I haven't been the same since I read it. Blindspots is ministry untainted! Shaun's ability to be transparent is heroic yet humbling. This is just the begining of the Blindspot Movement and I thank God that I am blessed to be a part of it!

Many have deemed tons of books to be life changing but I promise you, BLINDSPOTS is the epitome of a life-changing book. There is an guaranteed "WOW" on every page and in every chapter of BLINDSPOTS . This book will make you cry just as much as it will make you laugh. It will cause you to adjust your definition of deliverance, change your outlook on healing, and before you reach the last page, you will develop an appreciation for everything you are dealing with or ever dealt with. One of the things I appreciate the most about this piece of literature is that you can hear the sincerity of Shaun's heart on every page. His desire for each reader's healing, deliverance, and freedom, is evident throughout the entire book. I believe that this book is the healing balm for this generation. This book will be what God uses to induce change for today's Christians and non-Christians. We are in a time period where people have mastered the art of hiding their pain and they refuse to address their hurts/blindspots because they fear being judged or talked about by others. So, consequently, there is a bunch of broken people walking around pretending to be whole, while harboring a deep desire to be healed. If you are that person, this book was written with you in mind. Shaun's transparency will free you from the prison of those thoughts that tell you you're worthless because you have/had a blindspot. His transparency will give you the courage to dig up and deal with those things that you've buried beneath the surface. Those nights that you cried desperately for God to send you help for your hurt weren't in vein. While you thought God was ignoring your prayers, He was really birthing your breakthrough through Shaun, which came by way of BLINDSPOTS. Simply put, do not rob yourself (or someone you know) of the opportunity to experience real liberation--go get BLINDSPOTS! An d after you've read it, you'll see that this review isn't a scheme for book sales but rather the absolute truth.

A voice of unadulterated truth. Very seldom in the Christian community does one find one who is courageous enough to give a reader an intimate portrait in to their life's story. Shaun Saunders is not only a gifted writer, but he is an exceptional story teller. In this book he is able to undercover the story behind the scripture. He equips the reader with the tools to not only overcome his or her own blind spots but to elevate from twisted faith to total restoration. By bringing his struggles into the constant countenance of the Almighty he compels the reader to acknowledge his or her own humanity and embrace the reality that we all need help. Particularly for a young African American men of this generation this book speaks volumes. Many of us are greatly struggling with an identity crisis and have allowed the slew of hurts to keep us stuck. Shaun offers the young boy who may have encountered violation, who is caught in the chains of illicit lust, or struggling to find his identity because of crippling insecurities the hope to overcome. There is a definitive movement that will be borne from this book. I would encourage all to read it. Elvie Williams Music Educator
