Natasha is a blogger who has been receiving threats to shut down her blog or else. Oooh! Then, in the middle of the woods, she is shot in front of her kids. So far this was a good start! What was her blog about? A video game that programs kids to be killers? Cool! Her blog was protesting the company that designs that game. A shut down would cost a psycho millions, which was why he had to get rid of Natasha. So he sends Terminator Alex—an unstoppable, invisible killing machine—after her. He always shows up, scaring the crap out of Natasha and the police don’t have single clue. How does he keep getting so close to her without anyone noticing? Oh, he’s good! An engaging thriller!

Blog This is the first book from Cami Checketts I have read. I must say that I enjoyed this story that is full of action, mystery, and suspense. I look forward to more by this author in the future. 4 stars.

Early on in this book, I found a few things to be a bit more unbelievable than I would have liked. I didn't feel that the world would be kind enough to support as successful of a blog as the main character, Natasha, was writing. I felt that the situation that motivated her, though tragic, would be more likely to be met with scorn and cruelty by the general populace.  Then, as I read a little further and things started to come together, it came out that she had kept her motivations secret, even though it had been all over national television in years past. Still, this did help to make it a bit more believable. As the pieces came together a bit more, I started to really get into the story. Even so, some things still lingered on the edge. Alex, the "bad guy," getting away with so much, so effortlessly, seemed a bit much, to me. Yet, I did like the characters, and the storyline was unique, interesting, and modern. Overall, the positives did outweigh the other factors, and I ended up really liking the book. Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

A mom of 2 kids - a normal boy and a daughter with the syndrome of down - has a blog where she warns for a video game. The owner of the video game is sick of her ruining some contracts for him and hires someone to kill her. Alex, the assassin, does what he does because of his own reasons.  It's an awesome story with a couple of plot twist. All the relations between people didn't feel forced. I like this kind of books but had some trouble with connecting with the characters. Putting it down was no option i finished it in one night. The ending was satisfying.

When I received this book for reviewing, I thought I was going to be disappointed, boy was I wrong. This is an easy, enjoyable read. It has romance and mystery...what more do you need. This was well written with few grammatical/spelling errors. One minus for me was, the adults in this book over used "teen speak." I understand using it once or twice but it was over used, IMO. I did find myself "reaching" for the second book in this series, after finishing this one. A little more character background/development would have added to this book. Summed up : Did I like this book? Yes Will I read it again? Probably Will I recommend it to friends? Yes. If you like romance or mysteries, give Blog This a try. J.Matthews

Felt like the book could have been half the length. Natasha seems to make stupid decisions where her family's safety is concerned. Got better at the end but by then I was only wanting to finish the book

Natasha is on a quest to stop people from purchasing violent video games. She is insistent that Matthew Chrysler is training kids to become killers through these games. As a teen, she put him out of business and now he's back and determined to silence her for good. Natasha is a divorced mother and a very protective mom. She will do whatever it takes to protect her kids from the dangers of the world, yet there's not much she can do when a hit man shows up. I love how brave she is. I would be scared to death, especially when the hit man turns up all over and in the most unexpected places. I really enjoyed her spunky son, Jace, and her sweet daughter, Lily. There's an interesting love angle. Her ex is back and wants to protect his family. Natasha still has feelings for Tony, yet there are sparks of interest between Natasha and the detective, Scott. There is more to Alex, the hit man, than just being a bad guy. There were some great romantic scenes and the suspense was really great! I enjoyed the pacing of the story and the events kept me flipping pages and had me on edge. I think that I especially connected to the story because this author writes a lot of her stories in the area where I grew up. I can visualize these places and to think of these types of things happening in the area of my youth, well...it seriously creeps me out! Content: Clean romance (kissing, vague mention of affairs, unwed pregnancy); no language or religious elements; moderate violence (murders, attempted murders, death, stalking, shootings--nothing too graphic, but moderately described).

I loved this book. I was full of suspense and kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading it. I like how the Author gets you thinking about the scary things of the world that other Authors don't want to touch. How something as simple as a blog can put you in danger in the world today. I liked the mix of adventure/action as well as the romance! What Mother wouldn't go to every extreme to protect her children and her family. It was a nice clean book and a really great read. Once again Cami writes a great book!
