About the Author

Karen Walker Goin is an imaginative dreamer, who has always been fascinated with the fictional world of Vampires, Fantasy, and the Paranormal.

Her dream of becoming a published author stayed with her since she was eight years old, due to her mother; who at the time was taking a writing class in college. Her short stories were sent in and graded by the professor, along with her mothers. This left a lasting impression on her dream of becoming a writer.

She resides in Virginia with her husband, one daughter and two sons.

I'm actually not writing a review. More or less I am telling you about this book, because there seems to be no details about the book listed on the Barnes and Noble site, which i find odd. This book is about a mc named Chloe, who finds that her blood can give Vampire's a taste of mortality. She finds that she is in great danger from the old coven, who want to use her to obtain a remnant memory of living a mortal life, while keeping their vampire-like abilities. But, Chloe will learn things about herself, her family, and her new found friends, she never dreamed imaginable. Soon, she must fight to survive, and has to learn to protect herself and the ones she loves because of her abnormal gift. The story takes place in Ireland, and Chloe's ties to the land are much deeper then she could have ever imagined.
