Oh my days!! This book..... I've just finished and I honestly don't know what to say except I loved, loved, loved it so much. I never thought another immortal from the amazing world Lexi C Foss has created would sneak into my heart the way my beloved Balthazar has....but, Jayson, you may have stolen a slice. The whole world that Foss has created is beyond genius. Honestly, I'm in awe of her creativity and imagination. In Blood Heart, we get a proper peek behind the curtain of the foundations she lay in Blood Laws and Forbidden Bonds, and while I wanted to rip the fabric open and beg her to tell me EVERYTHING - RIGHT NOW - I've had a quiet word with myself and am now reveling in the glow of delayed gratification (down B!) I'll end with a Game of Thrones quote (because I'm a huge fan, and this is my review, so I can lol).... Winter isn't coming any longer....it's here! Bring on Angel Bonds. I, for one, cannot wait.

Oh, my heart… So many feels with this one. A woman of means and of interest. An Immortal Elder sent to learn more about her. Two completely different worlds. What happens when just watching is no longer enough, those worlds collide. Elizabeth has been raised to be the perfect, polite society daughter. Her best friend and roommate is now working for the agency who stole her childhood crush and she is alone. Alone in her grief and so much more. She wants nothing more than to be seen and understood. Jayson is an elder and has been sent to learn more about Elizabeth. She is forbidden fruit and the more he watches, the more her innocence and warm heart draws him to her. Can he stay away while seeking answers to the secrets surrounding her? More importantly, can he keep her safe when those secrets threaten to override her? The story visits past characters and continues the story of the Immortal Curse world. Emotions are high, the feels are real, and the story delivers on so many levels. With more questions, sneak peaks of things to come, and some secrets revealed… I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Blood Heart is a fantastic addition to this series. Lizzie starts out wimpy but blew me away by the end. Action, adventure and romance in the very best ways. This may be the best in the series to date. Get and enjoy this book.

I have to say, Blood Heart is probably my favorite of the series so far! Secrets that have been kept for so long are exposed. Friendships are broken. Allies are discovered. And war is on the horizon. Elizabeth was raised by cold parents who have molded her to be the perfectly polite daughter. Since losing her childhood crush she feels more alone than she ever has before. Her best friend and roommate insists on working for the company that she deems has ruined her childhood and has been distant in a way that makes her feel as if she's alone in the world with nobody. Jayson is the Immortal Elder assigned to watch over Elizabeth and determined how the CRF is interfering in her life. But there's just an innate goodness and innocence to Elizabeth that has drawn Jayson in. He's never experienced or understood how men could stand only one woman for the rest of their immortal existence, but Elizabeth is finally making him understand and crave it for himself. When everything comes to head lives are turned upside down. Relationships are broken and put to the limits and Elizabeth will discover her entire existence has been one big experiment.

After the Elders are told about a CRF file on Lizzie, they decide she needs protecting. Jayson is assigned to watch her. He needs to get close. Intimately close. Lizzie is frustrated with her new upstairs neighbor and decides she's gonna get him. She never expected a godly supermodel to answer the door. Insert drooling.

Jayson and Lizzie's story is action-packed and intriguing. I especially loved Jayson's telling of the history of the Ichorian's and how the Hydraian's came to be. I can't wait for the next book to follow up with Jayson and Lizzie and Issac and Stas. I strongly recommend this series.

I can't get enough of this series, The author pulled out all the feels and I totally used my shirt sleeve to mop up the tears on numerous occasions. If you haven't read the first two books then you'll be lost, but this is Lizzie's story. Jayson is sent to learn more about her but the more he watches her, the more intrigued he is. I need more books!!!!!!I don't want it to ever end!!!

Wow! Loved it! It was entertaining, it was seductive and it was emotional! I was sucked into this story and didn’t come up from my reading cave till the end! I enjoyed learning not only more about the characters but also what’s going on and how everything is progressing. I’m blown away and can’t wait for more. The ending left me highly anticipating the next book!

Blood Heart by Lexi C. Foss is the third book in her Immortal Curse Series and what an amazing ride this book was to read! Following the story of the Ichorians and the Hydraians, it was great to see more interactions between these two groups. Blood heart follows the same storyline from the other books in this series, and picks up right where book 2, Forbidden Bonds, leaves off. The readers get more of Lizzie and Jayson, who are human and Hydranian, as well as a large cast of characters that made this a very interesting story to dive into. The interaction between all of the characters in this book, really show how important it is to read this series in order, as the same characters play off of each other between each story and their stories all build on each other. The playful dialogue between Lizzie and Jayson was well written and made me see just how much these two were willing to work to make a relationship work between themselves. Foss is a newer to me author, but I fell in love with this book. Her writing shows just how much she loves her characters and how much this world she has created means to her. The storyline was addictive to read, her characters had great depth and the suspense and romance made this a book that I just couldn’t put down. If you are looking for a new author, or a great paranormal suspense romance than this is the series and author for you!

Blood Heart (Immortal Curse Series Book 3) by Lexi C. Foss is the third book in her Immortal Curse series. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the previous two books in this series as they are just as enjoyable. I will say, that this is my favorite of the three. I enjoy how this author can come up with creative characters and details that made me feel as if I was right there in the story. I found this book to be fast paced and engaging. I love how this author takes characters from the previous books and gave them parts in this one. It is enjoyable seeing what happened to them after their own book. This installment we get Jayson and Lizzie's story. They all took me on an emotional roller coaster ride of various emotions including laughter. Jayson has a new place to live along with a new assignment which he knows nothing about other then her name and that she is non-human. Lizzie thinks that she lives next door to someone who is loud but attractive. He keeps flirting with her but the problem is she has a recent passing of a friend that is still fresh in her mind. What will happen when she agrees to the friendship despite what her broken heart is telling her? What will they do when they realize that love isn't enough and that she just may be the key to an immortal war that is brewing? There are a few twists and turns that they took me on that left sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. I enjoyed these two characters plus the other new characters that were introduced in this story. They are strong characters that are both human and non-human. I felt compassion for Lizzie with how she grew up but I enjoyed watching her grow with Jayson. Jayson is protective and has a sensitive side to him that was great seeing. His character did surprise me a little bit being that he liked to party before he met Lizzie but I did enjoy his character none the less. I highly recommend reading this book. Find out what Lizzie and Jayson's story is and if it is possible for a HEA.

First Blood Laws, then Forbidden Bonds, now comes Blood Heart. It’s an emotional ride, thrilling, and powerful. How can the third book in a PNR just keep getting better? Each book has secrets revealed and planted, and some how this author has them throughout the series. Which always gives me the rush of fitting puzzle pieces together that I had not even realized I was looking for. Fantastic world building continues as the stories grow with the characters. Jayson (an elder) is doing his part to protect his wold and people. This time his job is to watch over a girl. There’s something different about her, in more ways than one. His order is not to interact, just observe, from afar. Learn and report back. Easy right? But the girl is a woman, and he’s got to get closer to do his job better. Lucky for him she’s pretty, and with a little help, maybe fun. Now all he’s got to remember is not to mix business with pleasure. I absolutely loved this book and can not wait for the next story!

This is the third instalment of the Immortal Curse series, and can I just say OUT.STANDING. I have loved the Immortal Curse series from page 1 of Blood Laws, and to be honest, I didn’t think it could get any better. And yet, here we are. And this is interesting, because Jayson doesn’t feature highly in Blood Laws or Forbidden Bonds, and yet, he has evolved into such an incredible character. And then you have Lizzy, who, honestly, I found somewhat bland and annoying in the earlier books. I love how a skilled author is able to completely invert your mindset. Lexi has delivered an action-packed, sexy, intelligent story. As the reader, you find yourself completely immersed in the characters—you end up loving them both, and desperately wanting the best possible outcome. Jayson is such a great character—he is intense, fun, intelligent, loyal, capable, honest, and he doesn’t take any prisoners. The more you read him, the more you fall under his sexy spell. Lizzy’s transformation takes her from annoying to vulnerable, kind, sexy, and strong. And what an evolution it is. Then you have the secondary characters of Isaac—Isaac will be so unhappy to hear himself classed as a secondary character, Stas, the energetic and creative B, Luc, Jacque, Tristan, Mateo, Tom, and Amelia. Lexi C Foss also has the ability to write particularly despicable villains. These are not villains that you love to hate. They make your skin crawl and are completely vile. I really want Jonathon to have a painful and oh so very long demise. Then you have the unknowns—Gabriel and Ezekiel. Who are they really? What is their agenda? Are they good, bad or shades of grey...the plot thickens. I have my own ideas about them, but I leave it to you good people to determine what you think. Lexi C Foss’s plot development takes us to a range of stunning global locations which makes this world just feel so fantastical. In addition, she evokes a maelstrom of emotions from the reader such as amusement, disbelief, wonder, anxiety and sadness. As with any great saga, as the book draws to its climax, Lexi hits you with a sting in the tail that a scorpion would be envious of. All in all, another phenomenal book from this incredibly talented author. I cant wait to read Angel Bonds and Blood Bonds. In fact, I get very excited at the prospect of reading anything written by Lexi C Foss.
