Blood of Eve starts two years after Dead of Eve. This sees Evies continued survival from the acopcalypse of two years ago. Evie is still being a guide throughout by her three guardians Jesse, Roark and Michio. This one sees the continued fight they face to make the world livable, a cure for the virus. With them still fighting against aphids or anything to hinder their survival. This sees Evie and her guardians look for nymphs for Evie to cure her blood. So they could at least restore some female population to humanity that was destroyed by the outbreak. Evie's blood helps the nymphs return to normal women. With the fact that aphids having been evolving in time and not dying means they have a continued fight to kill them all. This is when they find out that the Drone is still very much alive. There is also the prophecy about Evie, the procephy was foretold to Jesse, her Lakota guardian,by Evie's dead daughter Anni's spirit. The prophecy means Evies life will save others and most likely humanity. This book also deals with the outcome of the Drones spider hybrid mutation abilities and how they'll affect future generations. Hence a the reason the procephy must come to light to save future generations. We also deal with a number of emotions in this book that the prophecy in envokes. We also see how not only does Evie rely on the support and love of her guardians throughout, but the guardians have to rely and trust each other and that they not only support and love Evie, but each other. Who'd have thought a book about apocalypse could be funny and very hot at times. While the book was 600 odd pages long, I could have read on. Can't wait for the conclusion Dawn of Eve. I received an Arc of this book in return for my honest opinion.
