I respect the author’s honesty and forthrightness; however, some of the statements that stood out were: -- “I now know plenty about the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his personal life,” -- “If he, in his advanced age, recharged his battery with women who were supposed to carry his secrets (secretaries) to advance our Nation, so be it.” -- “If this is what he needed to sharpen and elevate himself for his mission, then I say Allahu Akbar.” -- “I am a seasoned veteran by Allah’s permission in the Nation of Islam.” -- “There are simple questions many Muslims cannot answer. “ I believe that if we foolishly deny the truths of certain matters, such as the proper understanding of how to view and handle the Messenger’s domestic life OR we raise our ignorance (recharge his battery) to the level of wisdom, then we open ourselves up to being charged with confirming our foolishness and heightened folly. Messenger Elijah Muhammad should never be shown in any light other than divine, such as the likes of Solomon, Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, etc… Even if one wants to criticize the Messenger or vent, the scriptures are truly the only criteria the wise would use anyway – not contemporary style journalism. All of God’s Men are lied upon. Concluding with the following excerpts from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Temple #2, Chicago, IL; October 15, 1972: “Some of the things that I do you may label as being other than right, but that's just because you have not read the scriptures, you haven't learned what the last man should look like, what he should do and how the book teaches you that he is a fulfiller. You don't take the time to read what a fulfiller is.” “So, be careful about how you label people to be something that they are not. I want you to know that I don't condone falsehood, and if you want to do so, you are not following me; you're following yourself.” “Some of you are just going wild, telling everything of what you think. We don't want what you think; we want what God has taught us. We want His thinking and not yours.” “I'm equipped with the truth from Almighty God Allah. Some of it you may not understand, but don't try to condemn that which you don't understand yourself.” “… I don't go beyond the scope of my own mission which Allah has given to me.” “…If you find anything that I'm doing that you can prove that it is even other than RIGHTEOUS, I will give you 10 thousand dollars if I cannot locate the answer in the scripture of truth.”
