Meet the Author

Mari Mancusi used to wish she could become a vampire back in high school. But she ended up in another blood sucking  profession—journalism—instead. Today she works as a television news producer for the NBC station in Boston and has won two Emmys for her work. As if writing and TV producing weren't enough to keep her busy, Mari also enjoys snowboarding, clubbing, shopping, 80s music, and her favorite guilty pleasure—video games. She lives in the Boston area with her husband and two dogs.

This book is told from the point of view Sunny McDonald. Mari writes and you can totally feel what Sunny feels when things go wrong. The conflict with Jayden that leaves her heart broken, the conflict with Rayne leaves her scared, and the conflict with Magnus and their trust issues gives you a look inside their relationship. It's truely a fantastic book! And the twist at the end will leave readers begging for more.

"Kameron?" She walks arounf their old room, tears streaming down her cheeks as she looks at a picture of them. She puts a hand over her heart, the pain she is feeling almost too much for her to handle. The girl sits on the edge of the bed, hugging one of his sweatshirts close to her.

Blood Ties is the 6th book in the Blood Coven Vampire novels by Mari Mancusi. So now that the twins' mother has taken the position of the Queen of Fairyland we're left wondering what else is in store for the sisters and their boyfriends. Well lets just say we're in for a wild ride on this one. With everything going down in Japan and then throwing Jayden into the mix again things get pretty interesting for everyone involved. But as always the McDonald sisters come out on top with the help of their wonderful vampire boyfriends. Sounds like it should be cause for celebration but as we all know things are never that easy with this group so don't be too surprised to see an extra turn of events that may even shock you. I hope you'll enjoy this book as much as I did! I can't wait to read the next one and see where it takes us!
