This volume is an interesting one, focusing more on Nanami's side of things. The student council is preparing to put on a play about an amnesiac girl trying to decide which version of her past self to become; meanwhile Nanami is torn as she learns another side of the 'perfect sister' that she's been trying to live up to. The title of the manga is especially appropriate here; blooming, flowering, as both a choice of becoming and a growth that happens inexorably in time -- but Nanami's self-loathing makes this a frightening prospect, even as Yuu discovers the depths of her feelings towards the girl she promised not to love. (And the pairing of Yuu and You is a delightful wordplay; I wonder if there's anything similar in the original Japanese?) We don't get as much of Yuu in this volume, but what we do is still a joy. The art also continues to be wonderful and elegant, with a very clean style I find especially attractive for this story.
