For Beatrice Kelly McBane, a moment of curiosity, when she discovers an elaborately wrapped gift box in husband Dick's gym bag, exposes a secret that drives a serious wedge smack dab into the heart of marital happiness. At first glance Bea knows the contents of the box, sexy lingerie sized for a curvier body, are not for her, and the enclosed gift card confirms her suspicions.
As Dick and Bea prepare for a twenty-fifth high school reunion party at their lake house, Dick pleads for forgiveness and reconciliation. Bea welcomes him back, stuffing all negative emotions into her handy-dandy denial vault, and love reigns triumphant. Well, it does that is, until it does not....
Attention from an attractive high school boyfriend, a midnight ride in a nifty red sports car, and a feisty angel's answer to her prayers, provide Bea with a heavenly opportunity to do unto the other woman what was done to her. Her conundrum? Is revenge sweet enough to satisfy the soul, or does true happiness flow best when trespasses expire unrequited?

About the Author
Jan's first official publication was a sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, weekly Op-Ed column featured on the editorial page of The Weston Forum, Weston, CT, from 1995 through 1998.
In 2004 Jan authored "Laughter Therapy" for Bountiful Health, a magazine briefly available in health food stores in Tennessee.
She completed BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL in 2011, a project dear to Jan's heart because it is the story of close friends, of the everyday decisions that can shape lives and affect the people we love, and of a heavenly opportunity to forgive or seek revenge.
In the spring of 2012 Jan invited four creative friends to join her in an unusual writing project, a romantic beach read for the bifocal set written in email format. Jan treasured the challenge of weaving the five characters' voices together for MIND OVER MIRROR, LOVE'S ILLUSIONS, and QUAKES AND WILLOWS, volumes one through three in the Life, Love, and Bifocals series.
All are available in print and digital versions. For more information please visit Jan's web site, http://www.jananestis.com
