I love this series of murder mysteries. I find once I start reading I can't put it down because I want to know what it happening next. Her character Hannah is a bakery owner who seems to always find murder and it is fun to watch her put the case together while still baking goods for her bakery. I love how she involves her family and friends while sleuthing. If you like to bake there are recipes in all her books and some are so yummy. Give her a read you will find it entertaining.

this is the third book in a series about a female amateur sleuth with a sweet tooth for murder, bakery and coffee shop owner, Hannah Swenson bakes the most delectable desserts, but has a sweet spot for solving and getting involved in murders. in this book, there's a buzz in the small town of Lake Eden, Minnesota as winter is here, but also the annual winter carnival they have in Eden Lake. the big surprise is America's sweetheart and TV chef, Connie "Connie Mac" Macintyre is here in town, to not only show off her baking skills, but to sign of her newest cookbook and open up her new boutique of cookware, but then Hannah discovers her body inside her bakery, she knocked down while enjoying one of Hannah's homemade Blueberry Muffins. I like this series as it has the perfect recipe for a murder mystery (amateur sleuth, a murder, a small town, suspects, clues, small town secrets) and Hannah always has the answer to solving the recipe of who done it in this whodunit.

I tried all morning to lend this book as it was on the LendMe list in my library. After trying several times, I called B&N customer service to inquire. I was informed that the publisher had recently removed these titles from the LendMe list but my current listing had not been updated. Had i bought these books in paperback or hard cover format, I could have easily lent them. After purchasing this entire series digitally, I am extremely displeased about not being able to use the options that were supposed to be available.

I liked this book. I have read a few of the books. I didn't get to read them in order like I would have liked too, but that's just the way it goes. I was very surprised by who the killer was. I had thought of him earlier in the book, but didn't put it together until Hanna figured it out. Very good book.
