Paula Jacobson Blythe Cove Magic is an anthology with three wonderful stories that contain magic, mystery and a touch of romance. Each story is unique in its own right. The Obsidian Cat is a magical story. It kept me turning pages. The second story, Ten Little Librarians, offers a mystery with a twist. The suspense kept me guessing until the end. The third story, An Unexpected Visitor, offers insight into a young girls trying life. I had to keep going to see how her story ends. I loved this book. The strength of this anthology is that they are individual stories all tied together with Blythe and the manor where magical things can happen. All the stories were intriguing. It kept me going until the last page, yet it's a light read. It's perfect for when you just want to sit back, relax and go "to another place." I received my copy of this book to review from the author. This is an honest review.

I love trilogies like this! Blythe Cove Magic is three separate short stories that all center around the same bed & breakfast. Each tale has an element of magic and mystery. That being said, each story is completely different. The first is a romantic paranormal, the second is an Agatha Christie inspired mystery, and the third is a heartwarming Christmas story about a girl running away from an abusive home. Blythe Cove Manor sees a variety of interesting people throughout the year and that is what these stories are about. Lots of fun...I hope this series continues.

This is a wonderful collection of short stories…”The Obsidian Cat”, “Ten Little Librarians”, and “An Unexpected Visitor”. These stories take you on a wide journey of feelings. One is the magical beginning of a love story, another is an Agatha Christie-style mystery, and lastly a touching story about a teenage runaway. This is the third book in the Tales From Blythe Cove Manor Series but my first. I was not disappointed, I had no problem reading these books even though I had not read the previous two. All three stories are wonderful in their own way and I enjoyed each one of them. The Obsidian Cat” made me smile as the couple tried to figure out the magic that seemed to want to bring them together. The story is really light-hearted and an easy read. “Ten Little Librarians” is definitely a nod to Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None”. This is not a murder mystery but a mystery all the same. I had a wonderful time trying to guess who would be last in the “game”. I was pleasantly surprised at the ending. “An Unexpected Visitor” had my heart. When I started reading this story I could not put it down until I found out why this teenage girl would run away from home. I needed to know what had happened to her to make her leave and know that everything would work out so she would be safe and cared for in the end. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a good short story. This collection really does offer something for everyone… romance, mystery, and magic. I was given a copy of this book in hopes I would submit a review. All thoughts and opinions are that of my own and in no way influenced.

Three excellent stories in this book all set at Blythe Cove Manor in Rhode Island, written by three different authors. I'm familiar with Lorraine Bartlett' s writing, which I love, and now I have two new authors to read. I highly recommend reading this book of tales - it will warm your heart and leave you wanting To read more about happenings at Blythe Cove Manor.
