About the Author
My fitness journey began nearly 6 years ago when I was suffering depression and was simply sick of not being happy with my body. I used to be very sporty and therefore quiet lean and healthy, but ever since I had started working full time, my life became a bit sedetary and unhealthy foods crept in and hangovers were becoming a daily occurance.
A friend introduced me to the gym and we did a spin class. It was safe to say I almost died the class was so hard! But I loved it and I was hooked. I began training with weights early on and hired a personal trainer to educate me and push me past my limits. I began studying to become a personal trainer shortly afterwards.
I started out working in gyms on reception, doing sales and even managed a PT studio for a year. All of this taught me so much about business and I was given some great opportunities to learn from some of the industries best coaches.
I now currently run my business online and train my 1:1 clients at Fitness First Newtown. I compete in Powerlifting competitions all around Australia with Capo and GPC Federations. I currently hold 3x National records in 75kg Raw Plus division with Capo Powerlifting, however my passion lies with coaching others to reach their potential whether there goal is to drop body fat, gain muscle or strength or even compete.
