Guy de Montgomery's Norman invaders sweep across the English countryside to claim Godstone Hall and its fairest prize of war, Lillyth. She is irresistibly drawn to this virile conqueror. Though treacherous friend and foe alike rise up to challenge him, Guy will never relinquish this bewitching woman who has inflamed his warrior's blood with a passion he is powerless to resist. Bold Conquest is a classic tale of loyalty and passion that sizzles with white-hot intensity.

Having read almost all of Virginia Henley's books I must say that this one is pretty good. Although its not my absolute favorite (that would have be The Pirate and the Pagan) I think it is an enjoyable book. Most of V.H's novels are great, I strongly recommend them!

I have read 14 of Mrs.Henley's books now and have bought a few of them too,I plan on buying all of her books. I just can't get enought of her books. I love how she can make you feel like you are in the story with the people, seeing every move they do, feeling everything they feel. I laugh and cry when I read her books. I am so moved by her books. Thank You Mrs.Henley. I think you are a great writer!
