Overview
Bone House is a short collection of poems written during a young woman's quest for love and identity. Becoming a true woman is a challenge. These poems display that tension, how she dealt with it, and how she led herself to womanhood.

About the Author
Yes, I'm a real person. I grew up in south central Oklahoma with my parents, three siblings, and various animals. As I was always academically driven, I graduated high school at the top of my class and aspired to be a marriage and family therapist (that was after I gave up the dream of being an archaeologist). While attending Oklahoma State University, I had an epiphany. I didn't want to be a counselor; I wanted to write. Of course, my greatest passion was, and still is, digging to find cool things. I transferred back home and decided that I could teach and write, so I graduated with a degree in English.
I now teach high school English. This is a worthy accomplishment, but my greatest success yet has been having and raising my son. He might never understand it, but he helped me grow up and become the woman that I am. No matter what, he will always be my favorite hobby, job, and blessing. He makes life meaningful, and motherhood has been more rewarding than anything I have done so far.
As far as my career as an author is concerned, I have published my poetry collection online (Bone House). Now I am excited about my career as a novelist because that has become my focus, and I have published the first book in my New Adult trilogy, Revelation.
