Our fourth "handy book" by Daniel C. Beard is a classic tract on camp-lore and woodcraft, which includes instructions on how to build a good fire, cook venison, prepare for a camping trip, and use an axe and a saw. This, more than any of the others, is the Boy Scout's outdoor companion.
