I picked up Book of Souls by Glenn Cooper on a vibe after reading the back of the book and a few teasers. As a voracious reader who is always on the hunt for a great read, it was probably the best purchase I've made in the recent past. For any bibliophile who is in search of a thought-provoking, well-written, thoroughly intriguing, and masterfully creative yarn, this book does NOT disappoint. The historical mystery-style plot is richly woven, entertwining action in the present with events that took place hundreds of years ago; it all ties in together to create a suspensful, smart, page-turner that will leave you fully satisfied but wanting more! Book of Souls is a gem among rocks. Read it now!!

Great story with wonderful historical references. Minimal sexual content and bad language. Kept me reading. I only wish Ihad read the first book related.to this story.

Once you accept the premise it's a fun read.

Quite a bit better than it has any right to be. Not particularly well written, nor is it all that suspenseful, and the premise is ludicrous. Nevertheless it was somehow an entertaining page-turner and inoffensively fun. Could easily have skipped this and not missed much, but oddly enough it felt worth the very little effort it took and strangely satisfying by the end. Maybe I'm slipping, but I'd say that you should consider reading it if you're looking for something that's easy to get through and not to be taken at all seriously. It'll waste your time but entertain you as well.

I loved this book from start to finish. It's taken from the lines of Dan Brown in the Da Vinci code. People get together to solve a historical mystery. To me it's a great way to get people interested in the past, particularly in murky parts of our history where very little written text has survived. This book is fast paced. For the most part you won't want to put it down, I know I didn't.

I could picture every locale very vividly in my mind due to the excellent writing. The characters were very real and the pace of the book was good. A very enjoyable book to read. Jacque

I usually get a free sample before I buy a book for my Nook. This one captured my attention before I finished the sample and went to the top of my list of books to read. This was an exciting fast paced read with an interesting plot. I would definitely ready more books by Glenn Cooper.

This book had me hooked from Chapter One! Total Mystery and intrigue about an anccient Book found in an old English estate sale. However, certain people do not want this book or it's contents to ever be seen by anyone else. This book will have you on the edge of your seat.
