Along the way Pudd and Sketter eventually will solve a strange riddle that leads them to hidden treasure but not before they encounter the ghost that haunts the house of O' Peg Leg Horton. As readers journey along with Pudd and Sitter, they will be given quite an exciting experience, keeping the interest of both young readers and those readers who are young at heart.

About the Author

During his thirity years of distinguished service as an educator, Richard R. Hartgraves was the recipient of the Governor's Incentive Award for outstanding education innovation, and also, Counselor of The Year for Secondary Education in Colorado. Now retired, he serves as a deacon and adult couples Sunday School Teacher for his church. Mr. Hartgraves is an accomplished woodworker, as well as, an excelent landscape artist, having won several ribbons in local art show. In addition, Mr. Hartgraves is also an avid fly fisherman.
