I am a college student about to graduate this school-year. I studied Psychology and Anthropology. This dictionary helped decipher many words found in my textbooks. It was a great help in getting through college readings which is why I gave it a 5-star rating.

For many years I have used my American Heritage Dictionary that is hardcover, thick, and heavy. Because I am reading more, I thought that having the paperback on the table beside me would be more convenient. The words that I need to find, however, usually are not included in this lighter book. I hope that I do not have to invest in an even bulkier complete, unabridged dictionary for the words authors are using.
