I just love the the town of brimstone and the winyer witches. It is laugh out loud funny and helps to keep the pages turning. I could nit put it down. One day and i was done. A very easy read. I love the character of Stanley you almost forget hes a cat and not a human. I definitely think everyone should read if you like paranormal mysteries.

This is the first book that I have read in the Brimstone Witches series. I found the characters engaging, with a well-rounded combination of humour, magic, and suspense to keep me entertained. I am definitely going to grab the earlier books in the series to read so that I can get the whole picture as there were references to previous events that influenced the characters. I look forward to adding this series to my TBR pile! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a fun series! I found these a few months ago and read all the other books quickly. Now I need to wait for another. She’s created a fantasy world I’d love to visit. I enjoyed getting to read about the different creatures in the village and beyond, and even though I’m a dog person, I’d love to hang out with Stanley, the familiar. Like the previous books in the series, I really enjoyed this latest installment. Cassia, Stanley and the others are enjoyable characters who always manage to make me smile even while they are in the midst of solving the latest murder. This is a lighthearted, cozy mystery in a magical world that provides a nice break from the reality of everyday life.
