About the Author

Serena B. Miller is an award-winning, best-selling author who has written multiple romances about the large Amish population living near her in Ohio. Two made-for-TV movies, An Uncommon Grace and Love Finds You in Sugarcreek, have been based on her novels. Serena also writes historical and contemporary fiction and is presently working on a line of cozy mysteries: The Secrets of Sugarcreek.

A. B. Alvarez was born and raised in New York and found he couldn't keep his love of the city out of his first published series. Every book in the series either takes place in New York, or has New York characters who bring a a fresh perspective to a story of loss, revenge, and ultimately of closure. He is already working feverishly on his next series.

Derek E. Miller spent five years as a military contractor in the war zone of Afghanistan. The experience left him with friends all over the world, an appreciation for our men and women in the military, and an uncontrollable desire to hit the ground whenever fireworks go off. It also gave him a desire to channel some of his experience into writing YA novels. His diary series, The Attic Diary, The Kamikaze Diary, and The Ghost Army Diary was the result. He also has a popular how-to book entitled: Military Contractor’s Handbook: How to get Hired… and Survive.

Jesse R. Lyle wears many hats as he runs a computer tech consulting and repair business. He backed into writing short fiction after he and his D&D buddies’ campaigns started drifting into real life. However, the thrill of building Dungeon scenarios gave him a taste for creating new universes and odd characters. This anthology is his first foray into the world of published short stories.
