Sometimes strange things happen on the mountain, like pets disappearing. Or toys. Or even people. No one knows where they go, just that they are gone. Or, at least, that is what the grownups tell the children.

Shannon L. Buck is the author of twenty-five short stories, most of which are split between three different series. She’s working on two novella series as well.

Shannon grew up visiting her grandparents camp on a mountain in her home state of Maine, where she played with her cousins and still loves to visit. She lives in Orono, not far from that mountain.

Besides writing, Shannon enjoys reading, crafting, and long walk with her camera. And spending time with her daughters and grandchildren tops her list of favorite things to do.
