The hypnotic songress, Lana Del Rey, brings great emotional depth into every song. Her sweet-husky voice sweeps over you and your mind, body, and soul are put in a musical trance. I can't get enough of her music. I personally love all the songs, each one feels like cinematic moment, but "Video Games," "Blue Jeans," and "Born to Die," are the elite three songs of the album. Lana says they are actually a trilogy. The threesome of songs were written about the one great love of her life. You can almost feel the relationship in the songs. I know I'm putting alot of musical pressure on this album. You may not enjoy the album as much as I have, but it's definitely a musical experience...something new among all the dance/pop songs of today, which I love, but this album was a refreshing escape. I am definitely an new avid fan of Lana Del Rey, her husky voice, and this certain allure she has. Anyway, go get it!

This version of the album is missing tracks number #13-15, so I cannot recommend it.

I admit that I am a little late to the Lana Del Rey party but I’m glad to have witnessed her daring and emotionally provoking video for the “Ride” track. Many of the songs from Lana Del Rey evoke a 60’s pop vibe with a modern-day twist. The best way to describe Paradise is a strong musical effort that is unique in a similar way of the “Boots” song by Nancy Sinatra. My favorite songs from Disc 1 are “Blue Jeans”, “Video Games”, “Dark Paradise”, “Radio”, “Million Dollar Man”, and “Lucky Ones.” “Ride”, “American”, “Blue Velvet”, and “Gods & Monsters” and “Bel Air” are my favorites from disc 2. “Born To Die-The Paradise Edition” by Lana Del Rey is best for those who enjoy vintage pop music.

The three songs that are missing weren't part of the actual album from the beginning, they were bonus tracks from the original Born to Die. Gorgeous new songs <3

Do not purchase this album because it is missing 3 songs that is listed on the back of the album but is not included on the track. This is NOT Barnes and Nobles fault, it is the record label. If you want the new songs purchase the Paradise CD..I cant return the cd bacause it has been opened!!
