About the Author

Dr. Kathleen Contreras is the author of five bilingual children's books (English and Spanish). She is a bilingual educator with experience teaching in public elementary bilingual classrooms as well as teaching at the university level both in public and private universities in California in the area of bilingual teacher preparation.

Christian Paniagua is a freelance Illustrator based out of Queens, New York. Works on children's books and commissions focusing on the multicultural genre. His resume as a freelance illustrator and graphic design artist encompasses a career of 25 years. Christian's art flows from his urban roots, love for animation, comics and educational background. His whimsical approach and ability to blend movement, colors and emotions into artwork allow him the freedom to diversify his designs.
