Nice rescue of a lost session. Rather conservative playing compared to his stunning flights that took place two years earlier with Dolphy, especially in Europe. For once, Jimmy Garrison is audible!. An eyesore of a folder with irrelevant geometric patters houses a booklet with:annoying white text set on black and the credits dimmed to the point of needing glasses and magnification to decipher who's who. This graphic disaster is a disservice to the set, even though it has fine photos but they are kept out of view. Let's hope more will come to light, such as a Lincoln Center evening that had Albert Ayler and Coltrane together or more from Japan and Seattle..
