About the Author
Just when the Indians were beginning to create their powerful 1990s dynasty teams, and plans for Jacobs Field (which Scott will never call Progressive Field) were approved, Scott accepted a job which took him to Montgomery, Alabama. After living in Montgomery for 10 years, Scott moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he currently resides with his wife and cats.
Besides being a baseball fan growing up, Scott was also a big fan of hockey and attended many Cleveland AHL Barons, WHA Crusaders, and a few NHL Barons games. Since coming to Raleigh, Scott and his wife have been season ticket holders for the NHL Carolina Hurricanes. Their biggest thrill in sports was being at Carolina's seventh-game victory over Edmonton to win the 2006 Stanley Cup.
