Despite having died, nothing can keep Zion from his soulmate. He’s back but not as the man he once was. Zion must help Lela move on with her life, lest he lose her forever. But how can Zion convince Lela to accept the love and affections of another man when he still wants her for himself?

An amazing story that challenged my thinking about life-after-death. The story is not the least bit preachy, though the author's well-thought-out beliefs provide a firm foundation. In many ways, the story put me in mind of the movie The Preacher's Wife. Like the movie, Ms Jones doesn't tell you anything, she simply shows you everything. Well done. I received this book free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

This story was truly a surprise. While entertaining, it was uniquely thought provoking. I often think about the afterlife and whether we're really living a before-life right now. And I wonder if we'll be united with our soulmate or soulmates. There are some very moving parts of the story. Anyhow, if you like SciFi that's more thought provoking than sensational then you'll want to read this. I received a complimentary copy of the book through eBookDiscovery in exchange for an honest review.

Reviewed by Rabia Tanveer for Readers' Favorite Bound Souls (Forever Yours Book 1) by N.D. Jones is a novel about love lost and found, especially true love. This is the story of a woman named Lela; she is from a planet called Asiya, but even she is helpless when it comes to fate. She and the love of her life, Zion Grace, have loved each other for what seems like an eternity. They have lived together and loved together for thirty years, and now his days are over and there is nothing that she can do about it. They were friends and then they became husband and wife; now one has died and the other has to live her life. But there is one thing: Zion and Lela are soul mates and nothing can keep them away from each other, not even death. Even dead, Zion knows that he has to do something for Lela; he knows that he has to help her move forward, find another man and get on with her life without him. But how can he do that when he loves her so much? Even dead, he aches for her! So what can they do? How can any of them move forward when the other half of them is so far away? Bound Souls is a very beautiful and simply perfect novel that will grip your heart tight from the moment you start reading. You cannot help but feel hopelessly in love with the love Zion and Lela have for each other. It is strong, faithful, trusting and simply exquisite. These are not lovey-dovey characters, they are a strong couple, both of them pulling their weight and working equally to make something impossible work. Just saying that I loved this novel is not enough! I don’t even have words! This is fantastic, marvelous, splendid and spectacular!

Reviewed by Divine Zape for Readers' Favorite A book that transported me to exciting places, Bound Souls by N.D. Jones is a delightful fantasy that will have any reader doubt anything they know about love, science, and faith. Is there a limit to how much one soul can love another? Such is the question explored in this book that features a compelling blend of romance and fantasy. Meet Regent Lela of Asiya, the most powerful person on her planet, and a person who can’t save her beloved husband and soulmate, Zion. They have lived together, bound by a strong bond of love for thirty years, but now Zion must leave. Lela refuses to let him go. In some strange way, the bond of their love continues to live on beyond the grave. Read on to see what happens when a third person comes into the equation. Bound Souls is a gloriously narrated story, a tale with a riveting setting and extraordinary characters. I loved it from the beginning, following Lela and Zion in a boisterous argument. The way N.D. Jones explores the emotional intelligence and the psychological depths of the characters is wonderful. The plot is well-paced and the reader can’t help but go on reading to find out what happens to the characters. The conflict is well-developed and it is mostly psychological. A story that is character-driven, filled with numerous dramatic scenes, Bound Souls will transport readers into realities that will make them dream and long for a love that is both redeeming and lasting. I enjoyed every bit of this story.

This was a very well written and imaginative story about two soul mates, Zion and Lela, and their journey back to each other. This is different from the other works I've read, by Jones. The tone was sad and heavy at times. During the first 15% of the book I had to take a couple of breaks. Her soul mate died ( that's not a spoiler, it's in the synopsis). I was overly emotional about it because The writer is so talented that I could feel the ferocity that he loved Lela with, but he had to go. I'm getting teary-eyed again. Anyway, I won't give too much away. The writing is excellent, there is some humor to break up the heaviness, and it does end with a HEA. This is a smut less book. The sex scenes are implied or not in graphic detail. I have a daughter in high school who likes romance and emotional reads. I would let her read it. 5 big meant-to-be stars! Great job N.D.
