Bound & Teased by Marie Tuhart

Eight years ago, a naive Katie Crane ran from Ry and Jed, warned their brand of love would ruin her life. Now she's all grown up and returning home with a better understanding of the BDSM lifestyle. After the betrayal she's faced at her father's hands, she worries she won't be strong enough to submit to the men she gave her heart and virginity to at eighteen.

Jed Malloy and Ry McKade are surprised and thrilled by Katie's return to Felton's Creek. They'd been heartbroken after her departure and had turned to each other, embracing the BDSM lifestyle without her. Katie's homecoming sparks hope and worry. Ry isn't sure he can keep his dominant side under control, and Jed fears Katie will see him as less of a man by being a switch and Ry's submissive.

Having Katie back could mean the beginning of everything they've ever wanted or the end to the only family they've ever known.

While I did like the suspense element to this story, I didn't really connect with the characters. It is well-written and the storyline was a good one, but I think the character development needed some work. I did finish the book, but I never really got invested in the romance - I just didn't feel it with the three of them. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I don’t read MMF menage often, but I was willing to give Bound & Teased a shot because I figured it was time I do expand my horizons a little. Katie Crane, our main character, is a submissive. She comes back home after running away from a BDSM relationship, now ready to go forward with it. Said relationship would be with Ry McKade, a Dom, and with Jed Malloy, a switch (basically, someone who is sometimes submissive, and other times, a dom). All three characters have some huge flaws and issues, which made them all the more intriguing to read about. Ry wonders if his dominant side may push Katie away, Jed on the other hand wonders if she’ll think him less of a man because he’s a switch, and Katie wonders if they’ll be able to make the relationship work. The erotic parts of the book were excellent, with great writing and they managed to show the dynamics between the characters. It’s definitely a hot and heavy book, and erotica fans will enjoy it. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Ry and Jed had an unusual upbringing and this may have had an effect on how they live their lives. Does it really matter? Not if you are enjoying this book! This is just part of the backstory that you learn about as the book develops. You will also learn about why and how Katie left, why she has returned, what her relationship with her father is like, and also how cool her gran is. There is a lot of action in this book, and lots of games played. Part of the realisation that Katie has to make is the difference between pleasure for 'you' and pleasure for 'only me'. Ry and Jed want her to feel pleasure, they get their pleasure from that. Things Katie has seen have given her a jaundiced view so it is something that she works on. They push Katie's boundaries, but they also respect her safewords. Well written, with plenty of steaminess, and dash of mystery, this book delivers just what it says in the synopsis. If you don't like ménage or BDSM, then I can pretty much guarantee you won't like this book. If you do like them, then I would have no hesitation in recommending this one for you to try. * I received this book from the author via Bostick Communications in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Bound & Teased,  Marie Tuhart   Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews Genre:   Romance, Erotica I was really looking forward to this, a new to me author, a story with hot men, second chance romance, some BDSM and some spicy what went wrong? Well, I guess first off as they hadn’t seen Katie for eight years I expected some discussion of why she left so suddenly? And of course eight years is a long time – she’s now 26, and that's a huge growing and changing gap from 18, so why did they assume she’d come back to them. I thought they’d talk about those missing years, but no, just wham, straight back into some sex and BDSM....I couldn’t see that happening whichever way I looked at it. I just felt that the sex was the story here, and I need a solid story backing up sex, not this way round. Still, there was a bestseller not so long ago of 20 steamy bits from various books, so clearly others don't need the sex to be connected to story and characters :-) Same as always, everyone wants something different from their reading. Then there’s the connection between them. Why did they act as they did the moment she was 18, they didn’t seem to have had any contact til then and now 8 years on to assume she’s back and wants to pick up where they left off? I didn’t feel any connection between them – no sizzling sexual heat, no can’t keep my hands off him/her, and even the guys seemed like a somewhat staid couple. There was plenty of sex, but for me it didn’t match the story, didn’t feel right and it just overshadowed the story. If you want a book full of hot, steamy sex this is it, but if like me you want more story – well, the story simply gets lost here. Its not strong enough to stand against endless pages of sex. Stars: Two and a half, didn't work for me, but if you just want the sensuality without bothering about story and connections then you'll love it.   ARC supplied by Netgalley and publishers

Book exchanged for an honest review~ Katie Crane left Felton Creek because she believed and wanted a relationship with her father no matter the cost. Katie is coming home for good from New York but neither her father or Walter can believe she's leaving and not coming back. Katie is unsure how Ryland "Ry" McKade and Jedidiah "Jed" Malloy will handle her return. Ry learns that Katie has returned which leaves him with more questions than answers about Katie. In Katie's absence Ry and Jed have become lovers and best friends. Katie's leaving nearly destroyed them. Can Katie believe she's good enough for Ry and Jed? Will Ry and Jed get the answers they need to move on? Find out in Bound & Teased. This new to me author definitely made a homerun for this book. It definitely made me go see my hubby for some special kind of loving. The story and characters were exceptional, compelling, intriguing, and grounded. Look forward to more from this author in the future.
