Bound to Him: The Billionaire's Beck and Call, Book Two by Delilah Fawkes

Sometimes you have to make a deal with the devil...

Isabeau is happier than ever, loving and living with Chase Drake, her husband and dominant master. But when her younger sister, Lucy, shows up at her doorstep, she knows trouble is on the horizon.

Their brother Alex is in deep again with a bad crowd, but this time, Lucy doesn't have the money to bail him out. Alex's life is on the line if he doesn't pay soon, but since he's in jail, it's up to the sisters to come to his rescue.

When Chase Drake's old friend and fellow dom, Maxwell Pierce, comes to visit, he is instantly enchanted by the beautiful, fiery Lucy Willcox. When he overhears her confessing to Isabeau that she needs money in a hurry, he offers her a job on the spot, as his personal assistant.

He'd come to Chase for a recommendation, because his personal assistants have duties that are... quite unusual. If Lucy takes the job, she'll be at his beck and call, 24/7, bound to him, and all that the job requires. But with her brother's life in jeopardy, threatened by a dangerous mobster, she's desperate enough to sign his contract, no matter what the small print says.

What Lucy doesn't expect is that she'll enjoy it... and that saving her brother may mean putting everything on the line, including her heart.

Exhilarating drag races, scandalous submissive training, and an attraction so fierce it burns like fire, face little Lucy Willcox in this suspense-filled romance. You won't want to miss the thrilling sequel to The Billionaire's Beck and Call, from best-selling author, Delilah Fawkes!

ARC kindly provided by Delilah Fawkes in exchange for an honest review. Review This was yet another lovely novella by Delilah Fawkes! I really looked forward to reading it after enjoying Delilah Fawkes’ previous novella collections. And I must say, this book did NOT disappoint! The chemistry between Lucy and Max was OFF THE CHARTS! Phew! It was powerful and strong and exhilarating! I loved how the passion between them often permeated off the pages and made me fall in love with them. I felt like the two fell in love too quickly but I guess this was to be expected since the novella was so short. There were lots of hot scenes but significantly less strong BDSM scenes compared to the first novella. The storyline was set out well and followed through smoothly. I loved how the story had such a different and more dangerous edge compared to the first novella in the series. It really was a thrilling read! There wasn't anything about the novel that had extremely high anticipation levels like you would expect from a full blown novel, but there was enough in it to make me want to keep reading. Overall, this was a lovely novella that engaged me from the beginning. ‘Bound to Him’ was written pretty well but there were times when I felt like the author could have gone over the phrasing or the sentences a couple of times to edit through. Some sentences just sounded a little off but altogether, but this was a pretty good for a self-published work. It had that essence of maturity, professionalism, confidence and fluency to the writing which really spiced up the novel and rocketed it up high on my rating plan. The novella is written in first person past tense and often changed perspectives throughout, alternating between Isabeau's and Lucy's. I liked that it was told in such a way since it have so much insight and depth into each of the sisters’ personalities. I also admired the fact that, although the sisters were very similar in some ways, each had slight differences to them that somehow came through the author's writing and gave character and personality to each part in the story. I could feel the transition of Isabeau to Lucy or Lucy to Isabeau – and this made the story all the better! There were little to no typos and I found that the grammar, overall, was pretty good. No spelling mistakes or anything of that sort which was marvellous in my opinion. There was a nice and conclusive end to the novella. It was sweet and short but worked well with this story. Congratulations to Delilah Fawkes on publishing a lovely novella sequel to her series! Rating Plan 1 star : Strongly did not like the book, writing and plot was bad. Idea of the book was against my liking. 2 star : Didn't like it, didn't find it interesting or gripping. Seemed to drag on to me. 3 star : An average book. Wasn't bad or good. Everything else was well done. Original idea. 4 star : Like a 3 star but has potential to it as a series or the book grew on me as it progressed and certain scenes captured me. I Enjoyed it and read it in one sitting. 5 star : I LOVED IT! I stayed up late until 3 am. Author is a genius, characters, plot, idea, development, EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT. Nothing else can possibly be said except that its 5 STAR!

Another rich guy saves poor girl story. Didn't really see the amazing love at fist sight deal here. For me it lacked romance connection between both characters it. There are stories that you can say it's so unbelievable that someone can fall in love that fast and easily but you love the characters and end up relating to their story. Not with this book, for me it was just not there
