Justice Lonesome has enjoyed a life of bounty.Even so, she's inherited the curse of the Lonesome. A poet's soul. Which means she's still searching for something. Searching for peace. Searching for the less...that's more. And when the foundation of her life is pulled out from under her, grieving, she goes to the mountains to find her oasis. She hits Carnal, Colorado and decides to stay.Deke Hightower lost everything at the age of two. He lost it again at fifteen. His life has not been about bounty. It's been about learning to live with less, because there's no way to get more. Deke's also watched all his friends go down to the women who gave them what they needed. He wants that for himself. But he knows that search isn't going to be easy because he's a rider. His home is the road. That's the only place he can breathe. And the woman who takes her place at his side has to do it sitting on the back of his bike. When Deke meets Justice, he knows she's not that woman. She's cute. She's sweet. And she's into him, but she's got it all and Deke knows he won't fit into that. So he holds her at arm's length. Establishes boundaries. And Justice will take it because she wants Deke any way he'll let her have him.But when Justice finds herself a pawn in a dangerous game, Deke makes a decision. When he does, he has no idea he's just opened himself up to bounty.

About the Author

Kristen Ashley is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. She grew up in Indiana, but has lived in Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she's been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least), but loopy is good when you want to write.

Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, living in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

Ms. Ashley's plots are all melding together. Just change the names and they could be one large book. None of the male leads can use full sentences, just clipped phrases. None of the female leads seem to be able to say "no" to sex any place, any time. I guess many readers find these books exciting, but to me they are getting boring.

Deke is the quintessential KA hero! Hot Alpha only begins to describe my newest book boyfriend! And so many layers to this beautiful story. Love love loved it! Can't wait for Maggie and Woods story, and loved the references to Stella and Mace setting up the new series with them too. Please write fast!

Loved the story of Seka and Justice! Hot alpha male and the woman he fell head over heels for. Storyline kept me on the edge of my seat. I even cried when Justice sang at the hospital for Deke. Love all your books Kristen Ashley. You are in my top ten favorite authors. Thank-you for what you do.

I love all the novels of this author unfortunately this one is pretty lame and for some reasons boring - not the usual 'can't put it down' type of story although the characters are great .

I have read all of KY's books multiple times and this is by far my favorite. Top to bottom, it is filled with rich emotion and endless amounts of REAL. When you've read a book three or four (or five or six....who's counting) and you STILL laugh out loud or wipe a tear, you know you're enjoying greatness . It has not only given me joy in a literary sense but I've made my own KA Playlist and the songs featured here allow me to enjoy the book anywhere.

Wow there is so much in this book to keep you all happy. There's suspense and a bit of mystery, there's a man from the past. There is also lots of catching up with some of Kristen's other characters from previous books. A few twists and turns and a little bit of violence. Mostly though is this awesome building of a relationship between two fantastic people, they are well suited and both are a little lost for different reasons. I was gripped by this story from start to finish, soaking up the love and support from this network of friends. Catching up on the lives and developments from the others in this tightknit group. Its deep and emotional but there are also some light moments. I absolutely loved it and cant recommend it highly enough.

I'm a HUGE Kristen Ashley if I ever came into the same space as this woman I'd freak out as though I'm meeting a superstar! I've read every book she's read and after each book, I'm felt with the disappointing emotion of there's nothing else to read from this woman who brings out the "perfect man" in each of her stories. I love the women, they are amazing, independent women who love and find that even though they are independent they still can find some dependency on these incredible men! With that said...i love the character Deke, I love his free spirit and his "uber alpha" personality but there was just something about this book that was a bit disappointing. I wish she would've kept the rocker chic with the rock chick series....i felt that Jussys charac ter was kinda lacking. With that said I was SO THRILLED when Deke found his soulmate!!

I'm a big fan of KA, but it seems all her alpha males are short on vocabulary. Bounty is a beautiful love story but I just think it was a hundred pages too long.

Wonderful story! Kristen Ashley always pulls me in, making me ignore everything around me. This was no different. Another solid read! Deke and Justice’s story was so good but I just have to say, I absolute loved Deke. So sweet, protective, strong, loving, and caring. This man was amazing! I really liked the story of him and Justice coming together, the tension and chemistry, feelings developing and emerging. I was into it all. The front half had a slow burn and build but once that heat gets turned up, wow! Hot! There were lots of layers and twists and turns happening. I liked Justice too and her whole theme of “bounty” that was happening. It was heartfelt and full of so much love. It just made me feel full! I really enjoyed all the connections and relationships that came in to play and how people from other stories were connected into this one. It’s fun to see. I thought the story was really well written and had a decent pace but it felt drawn out in a few places to me, I was ready for some drama, for something to happen. I also thought one of the side stories wrapped up too easily even though there was decent closure, it just was kind of done. Here’s the thing though, I could not put this story down. I kept right on reading, absorbing all these great details because I wanted to know everything and I was rooting for these fantastic characters. So even though a few things felt off to me, it was still an awesome read! Kristen Ashley will forever be a favorite of mine. There is so much detail and depth in all her stories, she’s a go-to author for sure. This series is a definite must read!

I love AK books, I just wish this one had a little bit more of her drama that I love. Got a little bored at one point. Deke is one of my favorite characters, I expected more for his story. Justice was perfect for him. Looking forward to Maggie & Woods story
