This book tries to be about BDSM, but it misses the mark even though there are some hot scenes. I had trouble getting to know the two main characters and just felt there was something missing. The action started right away, but was so unimaginable. You can tell that this is a compilation of the ten individual books since each chapter is a bit of a cliffhanger. I am very glad that I didn't pay for each chapter, but instead waited until it was complete. There are so many authors that are doing this and I refuse to fall into that trap. I will wait until that have finished their story and then may or may not buy.

When will B&N realize that putting out such a poorly formatted ebook takes all the enjoyment out of reading it!

Glad I only paid $4.00 for this one. The only redeeming factor is it was long, and I prefer a longer format to allow for more character development. It is poorly written and horribly edited. There also appeared to be something wrong with the way it displayed on the Nook. It was very hard to read the way it displayed. It was slightly better if I reduced the font size, but then it was too small to read comfortably. Characters were not that likable or believable. Female character was supposed to be top of her class in high school and college and aspiring to a job in PR. However, she spoke and thought like the lower-middle-class girl she had been. I didn't believe that after working that hard to get ahead, she would not act and speak like she aspired. She also mentions her submissive "training" on numerous occasions, but there is no depiction of that in book. Either author was lazy and didn't want to do the research required to write those parts, or they got left out. In any event, it was not coherent. Male character was a little more believable. I liked him a little, but the whole thing just didn't come together. It was as though the author didn't really have a plan; she just wrote what she felt like for each chapter and then tried to tie it all together at the end. Not worth reading again or recommending. I noted approx. 100 instances of typos/poor editing/poor proofreading/etc., about 1 for every 5 pp, and that does not include what was out of character. I truly do not see how someone could put her name on something this poorly proofed. It is maddening for the reader.

Too many characters it leads me to think the writer is going to do many spin offs. The main characters got lost many times to characters I didn't give q crap about. Not sure I want to read more books from this author

I'm a sucker for a great billionaire romance, the fantasy is so much more fun when money isn't an issue and allows for extravagant things to happen between the characters. Jacob Whitmore is one dreamy, self-confident, alpha billionaire and I had a fabulous time stepping into his world. Leila Montgomery is a recent graduate yearning to make a big success in the world of public relations so she heads to Whitmore and Creighton. A run-in with Jacob Whitmore on the way to her interview sets off an amazing chain of events (stairwells, who knew these were sexy) and Leila ends up as Jacob's personal assistant and his submissive. The push-pull between Jacob and Leila is fantastic … she has never been a sub so she is always pushing boundaries/breaking rules but Jacob secretly loves it. Of course you can't have a great romance without drama … exes reappear, crazy mothers, celebrity crushes … all factor into the trials and tribulations that Leila and Jacob face as they work to figure out how they feel. Can Jacob open up and truly let Leila in? Will Leila be able to be a sub and stay true to herself and career? Enjoyed every moment of their romance.
