This is not a review of the actual book itself, but about the author Todd Goldman. He is an art thief. He gets 'ideas' from another artist's hard work, then sticks them on a shirt or some other kind of merchandise. Of course, he doesn't take the art as it is. For some reason, he thinks that if he rips off a character then adds enough slight changes they're suddenly his. For example, there's 'his' character, Eve L. Turn her hair ribbons into clips on her head and add pupils, and you've got Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl, created by Roman Dirge in 1992. As he puts it, 'it looks like a crude, child-like drawing of Lenore but with no pupils and the barrettes moved down. It looks almost exactly like little kid fan art I've been handed at conventions and used to grace my fridge.'. Another example of his thievery is Dave Kelly's (also known as 'Shmorky''s) comic from September 19th of 2001. It was a black and white drawing of a squirrell kneeling next to it's bed, praying. There's a thought bubble over it's head that says, 'Dear god, make everyone die. Amen.' In Goldman's 'interpretation', the only things added are color, a lightbulb on the celing, a mouth on the squirrel, and the squirrel's ribbon is gone. Oh, and the squirrel says please when asking god to make everyone die. Surely now all those little insignificant changes make it Goldman's right to make a profit off somebody else's art! These are just two examples of twenty or more cases where Goldman has stolen and marketed other people's art. Not only does he steal it, but he compliments himself about 'his' ideas. Here is a quote of his taken from the Chicago Flame's website, 'I'm just wacked out of my mind. Things just come to me really quickly. I have complete ADD so I've never finished a book before. I haven't really watched cartoons or read comic books. It's just my witty sense of humor and my love to draw,' Or it's just that it's real simple to type something in on google, stick it in Paint or Photoshop and change three things about it then prance around calling it yours and sticking it on whatever merchandise it can possibly be stuck on.

I watched my friend's 9 year old daughter taunt her 5 year old learning disabled brother with this book until he left the room crying. Anti boy hatred veiled in humor

A children's book that Illustrates Boys as smelly and useless. A children's book about making boys into Pets, or housebreaking Boyfriends. This flat out said Girls are gifts from Heaven and Boys come from the Stupid Factory. On the very cover this says to throw rocks at Boys! Misandrists hit a new low. This book is Child Abuse.

Todd Goldman is a great writer. Some of his work may be similar to another but it doesn't take away the humor. These book should be checked out to make sure its appropriate for younger children

This book is a great laugh. We have had so much fun reading this book with other women and a few men. I plan on giving it to my daughter for her 16th birthday. I know her friends and her will read this and laugh together. Sometimes in life you have to just laugh at yourself and the men in your life.
