I have all of the books in the series and this is one of my favorites. As always there is smokin' hot sex and some great funny moments. I love how Colt finally got the forgiveness and respect from his family. I really liked how India and Colt friendship had developed into something more serious with them not realizing it. As always the surrounding family for both main characters are great and it was good to see what is going on with the crazy McKay family. I highly recommend all of the books in this series.

This was one fine reading experience. The characters were realistic, the sex steamy but true to the story, and a seriously romantic look at two people who start as friends and end up being so much more. Loved these characters and their interaction. It is a keeper. My favoite book of Ms. James so far! Keep 'em coming...

This book is going to be a keeper for me. I love the entire series but this may just be my favorite. I have been eager to get Colt's story and was not disappointed. India and Colt complemented each other so well. Their friendship was so wonderful. The nail gun incident was definately memorable. I would totally recommend this book if you want a good steamy cowboy read.

4.75stars actually I so love Colt & India’s story! It just might be my favorite so far in the series. (It’s neck & neck with Kade’s story.) India’s bravado to hide her true feelings was quite telling. Colt’s façade was just as flashy and brittle. This couple has that grounded in reality feeling and it’s great that they are both flawed. One presumes these two flawed and damaged humans have been slowly healing each other since Tied Up, Tied Down. But for certain this time out is all about them learning to trust again and discover each other. The romance is sweet, flirty and sensual. It’s built for the road they are planning to travel together. Both Colt & India have hit bottom and scrambled their way to the top but not always to welcoming arms. When they decided their feeling for each other had passed the boundaries of platonic friendship but independently decide they can’t succeed with secrets between them is one of the best written scenes of the book. Or when they each were so afraid to lose the friendship they both treasured if the romance didn’t work out! Good Stuff! Both are great steps that added another dimension for their characters. As usual, the set-ups for the next few couples also made strong strides so I am eager for the next installment. There was a lot of dirty laundry airing on these lines for the neighbors to inspect and I loved examining each and every piece of it.

I have read most of these books starting from Long hard ride to strong silent type. The character are well-rounded. The author makes me wantto read more about the Mckays. I feel apart of their family, the sex scenes are realistic and to the point. I recommend this series to anyone who is not afraid to read erotica romance. These books are believable and are a good read. Write more Ms. Leigh. Cant say enought about these books. They are so great. They find away into your heart and stays well after you have finish the last book.

I have loved all the books that I have read in this series. But I think this one is going to be my favorite. I am impressed that Ms. James added the conflict in the family into this stories. It makes the story more realistic and I can identify with the plot and people. Having grown up with a real Cowboy I know the ups and downs that life entails. Ms. James continues to do a really good job of showing what that type of life can entail on a day to day basis. It is hard and sometimes miserable work. You are often out in the middle of no where hours from the nearest shopping or schools or medical care. You are fighting mother nature to keep feed and water for the animals that you are raising to sell. It isn't for everyone and those that thrive on that life are seldom appreciated for their sacrifices. I look forward to the rest of this series and any other books Ms. James wants to write.

The books keep getting better. The writing has matured and the stories are integrated with a storyline and not just sex.

While reading the series you can not help but want to know Colt's story. What makes him act out as he does? Can he redeem himself to his family and to Lorelei's readers? Oh yes he can and India is just the friend he needs by his side.

I absolutely LOVE and trust everything Lorelei puts out. Her writing styles from her western/cowboy to her fighter/mma is remarkably different. However, amazing at the same time. It takes a brilliant writer to be so diverse in her styles.

Well I can really say that Mrs. James is one awesome writer. I love the situations she present in the stories (as they are not the same boring scenarios told in a different way) and the way the characters have to go about solving them, mostly because it's a problem of their own making. In this next chapter in the McKay family it is Colt's shot at a HEA if he can make everything work out on his personal and professional life and prove not only to those around him but to himself that above all he in not the same self destructive guy he once was. In the mean time India has to try and keep her hands but mostly her heart away from Colt. She has her own issued to deal with and prove to herself that she is worthy of Colt and the love he offers. I cried and laughed and got mad, but must of all I fell in love.

I loved it!  Ms James is so good at developing her characters.  There is some Steamy sex, and lots of love in all her books from this series.  I have 15 of the books in this series, have read all but the last 3.  They are so hard to put down once you start them.   Keep em coming Lorelei.

3.5  This was not my favorite of the series so far. I really liked Colt McKay and India Ellison but the story line left me wanting something more. I loved the last 1/4 of the book but I can't say much so I don't spoil it for others. I'm looking forward to reading Cam and Domini's book.

I was looking forward to these two getting together so there wasn't a surprise factor.  I was surprised by the reaction of certain people, makes me wonder if I understood them correctly from the previous books.  I like the progression of the overall family dynamic, it's really awesome how the whole family is involved in each of these books.  We don't just get whichever couple is being featured but we get everyone.
